Graphics Downloads

I have tried to install several diffrent downloads from Kits to Logos to Tactics but while i can get them downloaded and unzip into the correct files, i cannot get them to run.
I am getting to the stage that I am thinking of going back to a fully updated version of FM14.
Is there any ideas where i'm going wrong.
