As many of you peoples may know Borussia Dortmund have had a terrible season, possibly the worst since 1985/86 where we finished 16th. But we recently won 3-0 away at Freiburg with Pierre Emerick Aubamyeng(2) and Marco Reus scoring the goals to win our first game since we played Hoffenheim at home on matchday 14 that we have tasted victory.

That win was key for confidence and our defence will feel a lot better for keeping a clean sheet I think. In attack our main problem has been the fact that Ciro Immobile has been starting ahead of Adrian Ramos. I do believe that for us to score more goals Ramos must start, Immobile needs time to settle but right now we need Ramos to start more.

In defence Mats Hummels is having an awful season, he is being way to foolhardy and is a better centre back playing in a deeper defensive role playing like Rio Ferdinand and letting Sokratis/Subotic go into the tackles. Roman Weidenfeller is having a difficult campaign but that has not been helped by a shambolic back four in front of him. I think his form nor confidence have ben helped by Mitch Langerak starting numerous games ahead of him.

For now our main focus must to be earn a respectable league position but with a UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE tie with Juventus coming up will we be able to maintain focus? I think to have UCL football next season we must win the competition and with our form so far in this tournament I believe we do have what is necessary to win it.
