August Monthly Report
We went into the month thinking we could get 6 points from it but we ended up getting 4. LOOK AT THE LAST GAME OF THE MONTH.
Hull were a hard task but we should have won it having been 3-1 and 4-2 ahead. Nikica Jelavic played fantastically well and won the Man Of the Match award for Hull. Cleverly gave us the lead before Jelavic equalized. Ron Vlaar scored a free kick and Carlos Sanchez added a third. Hull pulled one back before Weimann added a fourth for Villa. Jelavic scored two late goals to rescue a draw for his side.
Leicester played well to beat us and to keep us at bay. We dominated the game from start to finish and we should have one at least 3-1. Football is often frustrating and they scored a late goal to beat us 1-0.
Chesterfield were dispatched 4-0 with Ron Vlaar getting a hat-trick. An almost unheard of achievement for a defender. LOOK AT THAT FINAL SCORELINE. 4-1 to us and we absolutely destroyed them with a tactical masterclass. MOTD pundits Alan Shearer and Phil Neville branded Tim Sherwood a 'genius' and the team performance 'the best he had seen for a decade'.

Look who we got in the Capital One Cup. City will be desperate to prove a point and wqe will one to prove our performance was not a one off.
