Leaving Madrid!

After a few meetings with our Board of Directions I decided to terminate my contract here in Madrid.
Florentino Perez vision for this club is not accaptable for me.
Perez' vision for Real Madrid is to sign the best players in the world every year, our youth players doesn't matter to him at all!

As the Castilla Manager I saw no sense in my work here. What would've brought my training to the youth players? Nothing! They never have the chance to get promoted into the Senior Team.

Therefore I'm happy to announce, that I'm officialy looking for a team to Manage!
As many of you already know, I'm Zinedine Zidane now the former Real Madrid Castilla Manager.

Now I've all my coaching qualifications in the bag and I would love to bring former European gigants back to the top of the League and can't wait for somebody to handle me a shot, to prove that I'm worth of managing a big team!

Teams who could be interested

1.FC Cologne

Cologne was once a great team and won the first ever German Bundesliga title. Cologne had some great players in their team over the last few years.
Players like Lukas Podolski, Jürgen Klinsmann or Pierre Litbarski.
Now the newly promoted Bundesligateam has a few good prospects in their lines, with the likes of Timo Horn, Yannick Gerhardt or Bard Finne.

AC Milan

AC Milan is still a team with a great reputation, but the team in a strong downwards spiral!
The team hasn't qualified for a European competition, which is clearly unaccaptable for the Board!
Lots of Managers had been sacked in the last few years and the club is looking very chaotic.
The Team is very talented with players like Stephan El Shaarawy, Mattia de Sciglio or the 16 year old wonderboy Hachim Mastour.
The team has other players like Nigel de Jong, Diego Lopez or Alessandro Cerci. With a setup with players like this, the European League should be the lowest target to aim for.

Manchester United

Manchester United isn't struggeling that strong. Alex Fergusons departure was hard to fill, but the team hasn't really changed that strong in comparison to the last Manchester United team which had won the Premier League two years ago.
The reign of David Moyes was really dissapointing for the Manchester fans and the Board, what led to Moyes departure after only one Season!

Manchester stil has players like Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie or David de Gea, but the players hadn't looked like a team the last season.
It will be interessting to see, if a new manager can "bring back" that special spirit Alex Ferguson had brought into the club!
Interesting start and interesting clubs you choose to be in race. Continue like this mate!

Zidane officially rules Cologne out!

Former Real Madrid Castilla Manager Zinedine Zidane, who recently resigned from his job made it official, that Bundesliga Team 1.FC Cologne handed in their interest in having a job interview with the former World Cup Champion.

Zinedine Zidane made a short interview with a TV-Team, where he said, that he "won't attend at the Job interview in Germany".
Zidane doesn't want to steal the german teams time and they should focus on someone else.
Cologne Director of Board Jörg Schmadtke seems to be disappointed by the rejection of Zidane, as he wanted to bring Cologne back into european Football over the next few years.

"Cologne surely is an ambitious team, I don't doubt that. Cologne just isn't the right team for me, I want to bring one of the big teams in Europe back to the level of teams like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea London, Bayern Munich or FC Barcelona! I heard from the interest of AC Milan and Manchester United and I'm very honored by that fact. I also got an job interview at a hugh club in England, which is a Team that belongs into the Champions League, a team which isn't performing like they should be. That's all I can say for now!"

Who is the unknown third Team?

Zidanes statement offers a lot of disscusion potential! Which is the unknown Premier League Team, that wants to talk with him about a Job?
Rumors say, that he could sign at Arsenal London, who are underperforming for almost a decade now. Of course they're in european Competitions every year, but they aren't as succesful as they where with players like Henry, Ljungberg, Viera or Pires.
It will be interesting to see, what will happen in the next few days and weeks!

Florentino Perez talks about Zinedine Zidane!

A few days ago, Zinedine Zidane terminated his contract, after he and Club boss Florentino Perez had different opinions about Real Madrids future.
It seemed that Real Madrid where about to let Zidane go in style, after he was a huge part at the club for severel years.

Florentino Perez now said this about Zidane: "Zinedine seem to overestimate his managing abilities! He clearly isn't ready to be the Manager of a hugh european club. It is a shame to see, that he decided to leave our club, because I really thing, he could've gone far here in Madrid, if he would've been patient enough."
Perez clearly hadn't held back his disapointment of Zidanes' departure.

He also gave a little hint of which club Zidane maybe could join for his first stop and it is a surprising one!

First Stop Anfield Road?

FC Liverpool could be Zidanes first major club in Europe! Liverpools current Manager Brendan Rodgers is one of the most talked about Manager in Europe, he currently is in rumored talks with Manchester United and is highly rated for the next three Lions Manager!

Zidane could then take over at the Anfield Road to bring Liverpool back into the Top Ranks in Europe!

Zidane is our target Nr.1!

...says Liverpool Chairman Thomas Werner, if the current Manager Brendan Rodgers would leave for the spot as the Manager at Manchester or the The Three Lions!
Up to now Zidane hasn't said anything about his next Job, Florentino Perez or the interest from Liverpool!

Brendan Rodgers seems to be interested to become the next Manager from Manchester United, after Liverpool choosed to sell their best Player Luis Suarez to the spanish club FC Barcelona.
With Mario Balotelli bought as his replacement, Brendan Rodgers is not happy, that his primary target, Harry Kane, wasn't even considerd as a possible transfer.
Not even Alexandre Pato, Rodgers second target, wasn't considere worthy as Suarez' replacement.

It seems, that Rodgers doesn't like the fact, that Liverpools Board members, bought players they wanted to have at the club and haven't listend to players, Rodgers would've thought would've helped the club to strenghten their position in the Premier League and the intecontinental competitions.

Zidane seen in Milano

Italien sources say, that Zinedine Zidane and his Agent had been seen in a Milano Restaurant, with some suit-wearing Businessman. It is quite possible that the Businessman where some Boardmembers from the struggeling italien giant AC Milan.
AC Milan aren't as good as they been a few years ago, where they constently had participated in the UEFA Champions League Knockout rounds and nowadays they don't even qualify for the Champions League, not even the UEFA European League!

Adriano Galliani isn't happy with how Pippo Inzaghi is managing the club and that he hasn't even qualified for a intercontinantel competition. AC Milan are having loads of players, who are earning a hugh wage and have little to offer, for the clubs success, players like Nigel de Jong (7 mio. €/year) or Mikael Essien (4.4 mio. €/year)!
It would be a hugh possibiliy to rebuild the AC Milan squad for a new Manager, if he would be possible to offload the hugh earners.
This would allow a hugh financial space to buy some talented players.

Another possibility could be that Zidane and his Agent had a meeting with Inter Milan Boardmembers.
Internationale also is struggeling in comparison to their former achievements, as they hardly qualified for the UEFA Europe League for the upcoming Season.
In comparison to AC Milan, Inter has some promising young players, like the croatian playmaker Mateo Kovacic or the argentinian striker Mauro Icardi, who once was part of the famous "La Masia" in Barcelona.

With those two clubs there are a few clubs looking for Zidanes services and these clubs are having a hugh reputation!
The list is like the who is who of the european past, like Manchester United, AC and Inter Milan, FC Liverpool!
Some rumors say, that german Bundesliga club Hamburger SV also might consider to join the race, but they would only be outsiders in the "Race to sign the Magician!"

Breaking News: Italy out of contemption and Zidane soon reveals his new Team!

Zinedine Zidane officialy invited the Media to a Press-Conference tomorrow to reveal his new Team.
Rumors say, that Zidane decided not to take over AC Milan or Internationale, therefore his new club seems to be not an Italien side.

The Press-Conference will be held in Marseille, will Zidane take over Olympique Marseille?
Will it be the great FC Liverpool?
Does Zidane wants to start an era with Manchester United?
Or will we be in for a hugh surprise?

Let the Magic begin!

The Day is here! Zinedine Zidane is revealing his new Club in a few Moments!
Zidane took himself a few weeks to talk with some Teams, the only Team he was seen in a Meeting, was with a team from Milan, AC, Internationale or maybe both.
Rumors say, that both Teams are out of contemption and that Zidane decided to take over a club in Germany or England!

Zidane enters the Press-Room

Zidane: Hello everyone, I'm Happy that so many of you accepted my invitation!
As many of you know I terminated my contract in Madrid a couple of weeks ago as I was unhappy with the opportunities my Castilla players would've been given in the first Team and I felt that my work was useless and wouldn't have brought any of us any further.
I took severel weeks to look for the right club to be a part of.
Severel Clubs and their Boardmembers contacted me, which made me believe again in my abilities as I felt honored for what I can.

I also wanted to thank my Players in Castilla and want to wish them hugh success and hope that they can take every single opportunity that they get!

It is true that I was in Milano to have a meeting with the Board members of AC Milan and Internationale, but I hadn't thought that Italy is the right Place to be for me.
I was honored that both teams wanted me to become their new Manager.
Both clubs have a enormous reputation, but I don't think that I will ever be able to be part of another club than Juventus in Italy.

I felt that I was walking alone at last in Madrid and all I have to say is, that from now on, I don't think that I ever will walk alone!

A video is playing

I'm very happy to announce that I from now on will be the Manager of Liverpool FC!
I had a few options to choose from and I would like not to mention the other teams, which hadn't gone trough media, but as the Liverpool offer came in, I didn't thought long and wanted to take the offer, as I always was fascinated by Liverpool and espacially the Liverpool Fans.
It's a shame that I never had the chance, to play for them, but now it is my honor to present them a spectacular Liverpool Team and I will be giving everything to bring them a spectacular offensive spectacle!

I talked a lot and now it is time for a few Questions!

Reporter: Mr. Zidane, you don't have any experience in Managing a first, not even a second division team. Why do you believe you could bring that special something to bring Liverpool back to the Top of the Premier League?

Zidane:I admit, that I'm lacking experience in the Top Leagues, but who can say from himself, that he was that experienced, as he first took over a club in the Top Leagues? I don't think loads of peoples can say that from themselves.
I have loads of experience as a player and now I want to be as succesful as a Manager, as I was as a player!

Reporter:Liverpool finished second last Season and came very close to winning the Premier League! What are your expactations for your first Season?

Zidane:Of course it is a hugh task to keep that place, but I'm here to bring titles and success, but I would be surprised if it would be this Season! I need to see, if my plans will work here. I need to see, how I can develop the tactics and the players here and it could be possible that the first few weeks can become very hard, espacially becuase of the fact, that the Pre-Season is already half way through and the Season starts in 2 weeks.

Thanks again everyone for beeing here and now I need to start my work, as my first training session is starting soon.
