2015-03-06 23:39#209960 BadWolf : You are still going strong, good results, few slips but all in all good update, keep it up.

Yeah, there were some good results but the quality of game has dropped down after August and we need now to get back on right track. Thanks for commenting.

October Report:

This month is something that we were looking for after September results. A better performance led us to secure these results and hold our 1st position in league table which makes me really happy. The way we played looks like more to August matches and gives me confidence that we will get promoted this season, which is of course my biggest aim at the moment. Our first match in October was against Braintree, and a very good performance with many chances from us which led us to score two goals by Jamie Chandler and Carl Finningan. That was match that must be our guide for the rest of the season.

After that, we were playing at home versus Alfreton and although we scored only one goal we performed really well. We had possession in our legs and shots were on our side. A wonderful goal by Phil Turnbull made from me an ecstatic manager as I was full of joy after that. He scored from nearly 30 meters and the goalkeeper was just following the ball with eye and could't react on time. Next stop was against Forest Green, and another professional win for us with only one goal and it was own goal by Forest player. Even that our players didn't scored goal I am happy for that result to be honest as it kept us on 1st place in league.

Last game in league this month was against Barnet on home field. And again, same result as it was in last two games. Goal by Julian Bennert gave us important victory as we are not allowed to be defeated against weaker sides. And final match of month was FA Cup's forth qualifying round against Leek. We were expected to win and we did it easily with goals by John Oster and Alex Rodman, who is from our U-21 team. So we advanced to first round of FA Cup.

Results:

Gateshead 2-0 Braintree

Gateshead 1-0 Alfreton

Forest Green 0-1 Gateshead

Gateshead 1-0 Barnet

FA Cup Forth Qualifying Round:

Gateshead 2-0 Leek

Top 3 In League:

Gateshead pts: 42

Braintree pts: 34

Macclesfield pts: 33

That space between you and the other contenders is starting to look quite good :) Keep up the good work!

It is really good gap between us but there are still more matches to come. Thanks, anyway for commenting.

November Report:

http://i2.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/article7072037.ece/alternates/s615/JS36057662.jpg

November was weaker month October with the way we played and with results. There were many injuries and many shots on goals but we had some really good result despite being weaker. First stop was against Aldershot which we drew after really equalized match. They took lead, then we were leading and after all that it finished as draw. Goals for us were by Julian Bennert and Adam Cambell. After that we played against Swindon in FA Cup which we WON! It was great match in which we scored four goals by Matty Pattison, James Curtis, Matty Robinson and Adam Campbell. We Advanced to Second Round of FA Cup in which we will play versus Doncaster Rovers.

After that great result, we were back for league matches, against Chester, in which we dominated as we did last time. Player of the match was Adam Campbell who scored hat-trick and gave us new three points. After that, very disappointing defeat against Torquay after we were destroyed with four goals in our net. They were throughout whole match way better and deserved to win. I was very, very angry as we lost to third team on table and got them closer to us on league table. Next stop was against Lincoln, match that was postponed due to waterlogged field. We played good but still didn't won and we lost precious points.

Against Dover we played splendid and won by three goals, Matty Pattison, Matty Robson and Jamie Chandler. That was great match for us as we won new three points. It was last match in league in November so I was happy for the win. But, final match of month was against Doncaster in FA Cup which we WON!!! We played great and scored three goals and got carried to the third round where we will play versus Norwich!

Results:

Aldershot 2-2 Gateshead

Chester 1-5 Gateshead

Torquay 4-1 Gateshead

Gateshead 1-1 Lincoln

Gateshead 3-1 Dover

FA CUP Results

Gateshead 4-3 Swindon Town

Gateshead 3-2 Doncaster Rovers

shakey month but you will get back on track, good luck
sieninen Yeah, Campbell is monster for Conference, I just can't imagine how much goals will he score until the end of season. Thanks for following mate. :)

OMGItsToddzy It was indeed but as you said we can and must get back to good play as soon as we can. Thanks for commenting and hopefully you will continue to follow. :) Cheers

Mixed results but looks like you are back on track with 3 - 1 win, gap between you and second looks good.

December Report:

http://www.gateshead-fc.com/content/Image/action/2014-2015/Gateshead_2-0_Newcastle_United_XI-Alex_Rodman-NS.JPG

It was solid month for us. We played good and had some really good results in which we played eight matches, one of our longest months. We started good against Southport and dominated throughout whole match. Good possession and number of shots gave us nice victory with goals by Julian Bennert and JJ O'Donnell. One goal was own goal in 33rd minute. Next match was against Stockport in FA Trophy. We were expected to win and we did it after extra time. Adam Campbell scored hat trick and one goal by Rob Ramshaw.

After that, we were playing against Woking and another great match for us with three goals for us, two goals by Campbell and one by Bennert. We had number of shots and with attacking and attractive play we showed why are we still first on table. If we continue, we will definitely be in promotion race which is my first priority. Next stop was against Bristol Rovers, nothing much to say than that we were very poor and lost. I have no more words for that play as it was disgusting. Let's move on... Against Halifax was totally different story as we played as we know and easily won a match. James Curtis goal from corner gave us lead in 13th minute.

Match against AFC Telford gave us new three points as we played strong and our play was so exciting that my eyes were stoned to the field. Callum Roberts gave two goals and unfortunately got injured and another goal was again by James Curtis. Final match was again against Halifax and we were again, like against Bristol, very poor and we lost that bad, bad match.

Results:

Alfreton 0-0 Gateshead

Gateshead 3-0 Southport

Stockport 2-4e Gateshead

Gateshead 3-0 Woking

Brisstol Rovers 1-0 Gateshead

Gateshead 1-0 Halifax

AFC Telford 1-3 Gateshead

Halifax 2-0 Gateshead

Top 3 In League:

1. Gateshead pts: 64

2. Macclesfield pts: 57

3. Torquay pts: 46

couple of tough losses there, but overall a good month mate! keep it up!

January Transfer Period

http://thesportsfamily.com/football/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2014/01/transfer-window.jpeg

So this transfer window was very interesting for my team. We were given around 160k euros for transfers which was very pleasing when you see that we are in Conference. We started bringing players from Indian league, belive it or not. First player who came to Gateshead was, ONE AND ONLY, Marco Materazzi who came on free from Chennai. I was really surprised that he accepted offer and with his signing we got more jersey buyers.

Marco Materazzi

Next player that we wanted to get and we bought was Mikael Silvestre, a former player of Manchester United, Arsenal, Werder Bremen and Chennai. Again I was pretty surprised as he is fantastic defender, in report it says that he is decent Premier League player! :O So I was very happy getting him to my club.

Next one was a former Paris Saint Germain player, Bernard Mendy. He also came from Chennai and again it surprised me that one top player wanted to come in fifth tier of English football.

After him, we brought a player from Guwahati, Indian club who is English player, James Keene. This 29 year old player played for Portsmouth while they were in Premier League and had a six year spell with Elfsborg.

Another player who came from India, from Delhi, was 208 cm in height goalkeeper, Kristof Van Hout. Former player of KRC Genk, Standard de Liege, Kortrijk, has amazing goalkeeping skills and is good player for Championship teams.

The last player who was bought was Bruno Herrero, 30 year old Spaniard who came from Delhi too. He was formerly in Sevilla, Murcia adn Xerez while they were playing in Liga BBVA. He is fantastic midfielder who has some grate vision skills and will be great in that part of field.

The rest players that came on loan were also fantastic but as there are many of them I will only write their names: Moussa Dembele (Fulham), Jack Barmby (Leicester), Filip Twardzik (Bolton), Adil Nabi (West Bromwich Albion), Ange-Freddy Plumain (Fulham), Alex Serrano (Arsenal), Brendan Galloway (Everton), Jake Cooper (Reading), Jason McCarthy (Southampton)

All of them are pretty known by FM players so I won't write anything about them. Next update for January matches will be very soon, so COMMENT before that. Thanks
I don't know how you did it but those transfers should help you gain promotion easily their experience will be vital on the pitch as well as being coaching staff should you keep them on in the role.
Too much Adam Campbell
BadWolf Yeah, the important thing is that we are still 1st and we need to hold that position. Thanks for following :)

TodayAtTomorrow Some tough losses as you said, but we will try to keep up!

Iconic I was really surprised too when they accepted it as they are pretty famous players like Materazzi is and with their experience we will do everything we want! Thanks for commenting.

Denzy I know, he is dominant player for this league. I really don't know how much will he score at the end. Thanks for replying :)
