Tech issue

Wondering if anyone else has had this. Playing fm2015 and im about to start season 2018 managing Australia. For some reason when a player gets injured and I need to bring a replacement into the squad, the changes dont register and I cannot continue the game.
Please help

ok. i removed and reloaded steam, fm2015 and fm2015 editor. Now I have the same issue of the game not reading an injury replacement in a national team, within the first 6wks of the season.
how can i fix this???
