Andrei Kanchelskis is a name embedded in the history of football management. 2013 saw the former Manchester United sensation don the touchline of the Kazan Arena for a single season. That single season saw the Russian manager-turned-hitman-turned-manager complete the unthinkable and secure the treble with Rubin Kazan. The Russian Premier League, a domestic cup and the prestigious Champions League trophy all headed into the hands of Kanchelskis.

After just twelve months at the helm, Kanchelskis opted for a career change, and became a hitman. Uncovered for his phenomenal talents on and off the field, he gunned down a number of international superstars who ruined his weekly £1 accumulator at the local bookies. Following the dramatic turn of events, an unknown figure going by the alias of ‘Stam’ sent the football god down for some time.

Nonetheless, after twelve months of rehabilitation, Kanchelskis has returned. However, he has returned under a new persona. Some actually believe he may not be Kanchelskis at all, and just a fresh face in the management industry. Santiago Lorenzo claimed to hail from the sunshine paradise of Madrid, with Mexican origins and a charm only the Spanish can possess. The 24-year-old was venturing into management at a tender age, after a lacklustre playing career across Catalonia. So where did Lorenzo end up?

Preston. The shock departure of Simon Grayson for League One outfit Preston North End allowed for the youthful boss to venture to English football. How he got there isn’t known, how he got a job interview may never be known, and how he beat off competition from former England internationals is simply ludicrous. But that won't stop him.

Santiago Lorenzo is at Deepdale, and ready to send them back to the top.
"The white way is the right way" lol.

Looks like a quality start to me, can only get better.
