GS15g beta 13 problem

Hello,

i've two problems.

The first one :

I've downloaded the latest version, installed it and when the application starts automatically at the end of the setup it launched normally. But when i go to the installation folder (C:\FMGEnie...) manually and launch the executable in the folder it's the beta 9 version like i never installed the beta 13 over the beta 9.

i tried to install in another folder and the folder never appears. The setup program works perfectly but it don't create the folder i dont know where the files are.

Of course i've ran every setup as administrator.

Second problem :

When i use the automatic start at the end of the beta 13 setup i can use the beta 13. But FM 15.3.2 is running, the game is saved and loaded, GS run as administrator but i get the "FM is not found" error message i don't know why.

I little help would be appreciated as your tool is so great that is necessary to play FM.

Doesn't it create a desktop shortcut once installation is done?
It makes no sense though. Newer version should replace the older one, unless you set a different installation path yourself. By default the path is this: C:\FM Genie Scout 15g

I'm not sure I understand your second question. You just need to make sure FM15 is running and your save is loaded before you click the "Load Game" option in GS15. It doesn't matter if you open FM15 before or after opening GS15, it just needs to have the savegame loaded in FM15 before clicking the "Load Game" option in GS15.
I think the problem you're describing is related to opening beta 9 and trying to load a savegame from 15.3.2 which is not going to work.

But that's not the biggest problem. I can use beta13 with the automatic launch at the end of the setup.

The biggest problem is that i can't use the beta 13 because i've the "fm not found" problem. I have this problem using the beta 13 with the 15.3.2 game running and my savegame loaded properly. I can't figure out why it doesn't work

Same problem of "FM not running" here.

But, believe me, it IS running and doing so with my saved game.

So, no news yet?

Good god... Since I've paid for the G version, you could at least try to help. Still can't use, it doesn't recognize FM running anymore.

I can't personally help with that, only Eugene could. I don't participate in the actual development of the tool and I have no involvement with the donations towards the 'g' edition.

Since it works fine for most people, he doesn't make a priority of this.
Possibly it's related to having a special edition of FM15 (South American that might be a slightly different version) due to regional lock.
