STRAYA MATE!!!!!!

Hello FMScout, and welcome. Welcome to a brand new story by yours truly Feliks, a brand new main story from me to hopefully emulate and beat Emile Heskey - Rebuilding The Reputation and maybe even top Doing It Down Under! But not trying to talk this story up too much, we'll move on to the basis of this story.

So, as you know, I'm currently co-writing a story with my good friend Xander about the 2 biggest clubs in Belgium, which you can find in my signature. It's good fun, great to write, and he's a great player - but obviously we're not always on at the same time. The fact that we have time to play on our own meant I saw a little window of opportunity to go solo - and here it is.

Now, this is completely gung-ho. No thought has gone into this whatsoever. JUST SO YOU KNOW. Why, why would I do such a preposterous thing you may ask? Why have I not spent 17 hours creating a custom graphic for this first update? Because way back in the day (ie 11 months ago), I, a fledgling site member, bought FM14 and on the first day I decided to start a story, which, much like this, had absolutely zero planning in it. That story went on to get over 700 replies, 30,000 views and a SOTM crown. So I figured, if I can do it once, I can do it again. I will cement my claim to be the A-League King Of FMScout. And there's your first hint.

Well if you were actually reading, you'd already know that it will be an A-League club. Other than that, you're on your own scrubs!

The title is your hint for this one, but again, not at liberty to discuss further. It is one of my favourite players however....

Thanks To...

Just wanted to thank Xander for agreeing to let me go solo for a bit, however, the dual story will continue. That I can confirm. Also, cheers to Walter for spurring me on to do the gung-ho story and a HUGE shoutout must go to Justice, who is doing a great job of bringing the old crew back and inspiring me to start a story.

Enjoy!
Broken my two month forum absence to bag the first comment on this potential classic of a story. Good luck my friend, you know how to write a good A-League story and there are a lot of expectant people ready for this ... ;)
ohhh cant wait!!

gotta love a good Hyundai A-League story
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, 10/10 title
This hurts. I thought we had a good thing going. I liked the A-League as well, now you are just going to manage them into the ground. Don't touch my Wanderers. DONT TOUCH MY TOMI JURIC

Chapter 1 - Doesn't Have A Name Yet

You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you do have some say in who hurts you.

BURJ AL ARAB HOTEL

"What's his name again?"

Khaldoon Al Mubarak was not a very patient man. Not at Tufts University, not at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, not at any of the numerous boards he was a part of. He was renowned to be edgy, impatient, vocal, and most importantly, not afraid to throw his money around. And when his company bought out Manchester City, Al Mubarak used his 'charm' to become chairman of the club. Some said further use of his 'charm' meant he was left to his own devices with the club. And it was his 'charm' that brought him here today, discussing the future of a small club on the other side of the world.

"And why the hell him? We have a multitude of more experienced managers, and more experienced.... operators, to choose from."

Al Mubarak listened as his secretary, in Melbourne, relayed him the answers.

"Hmm, an Australian you say. I guess that would help our situation greatly."

The 'charming' businessman paused.

"Well then. Invite him in for an interview."

"Here at the Burj of course. After what we're going to put him through he deserves a bit of class."
I wonder who'll be the head honcho at AAMI Park next season to lead the mighty Cityzens? ;)
*Hires Harry Kewell*
Walter As do I, my friend, as do I ;)

Justice You never know Justice, it could be another Australian legend like TAREK ELRICH
Mark Viduka? ;)
Did you just call me a scrub?
TMO Decent guess :P
