Arséne Wenger RETIRES!

Arséne Wenger retires after 19 years in charge
13/06/15

BREAKING NEWS!ARSÉNE WENGER RETIRES!
The ex-Arsenal Boss still had 2 years left on his contract, but he decided to resign.
The reason that's behind this decision is that Wenger is with some health problem's and doesn't want his health to influence his managerial decisions.
Now, the big question is who will manage Arsenal after Wenger?
The main contender is Jürgen Klopp who is unemployed, after he left Dortmund this summer.
Who do you think will get the Arsenal job?
Good luck and welcome to the site!

BAYERN AMERICA:Thank you!I Really think this is gonna be a really nice story, and I really like this website because, it has a nice community, specially in this matter.

Brownhill is going to spend the 15/16 season on loan at Wigan

What do you think about these signings?Do you think they are exactly what arsenal needed, will they succed? Is Arsenal a realistic title contender for this season?

Arsenal sell midfield duo!

http://i62.tinypic.com/143q6id.jpg
Arsenal have just sold Arteta(left) and Flamini(right), Diaby(center) is on his way out too.

Arsenal have just annouced that Arteta, their captain, was sold to West ham for a fee around £2.8m.Arsenal also annouced that Flamini was sold to Marseille for £5m.
Arteta played 135 games for Arsenal, scoring 16 goals while Flamini played 222 games and scored 11 goals in his 2 spells at the Emirates
Following these two, may also be Abou Diaby, the injury prone midfielder hasn't conviced the board of directors that he is worthy of another season, they look to sell him for £3.6m

Arsenal are also reportedly willing to sell Monreal, for £10m and Podolski for £16m.
Valencia, PSG and Liverpool are all reportedly keen on signing Monreal. Podolski is wanted by Valencia and AC Milan

Arsenal's latest transfers.
Podolski sold to Valencia!
It's official!Podolski was just sold to valencia for £16m.
The German was transfer listed since Bould took over.
''He is a great player, strong, quick and a really good finisher, but i don't think he would fit in into our style, and with him off the books we can get some good money, in order to finance somo of the others transfers, an give other players more oppurtunities to shine'', said the arsenal Boss.

Other winger being sold was Joel Campbell. The winger from Costa Rica was bough from Saprissa in 2011 for £800k and was sold for £10m to Newcastle.
''I really think that kid has a bright future, I would love to have him here, but right know we don't have space for him. I spoke to him, and I said that he was going to become a great player, but that right know there was no room for him. I hope he develops to one of the best in this league. Good Luck Joel!'', said Bold.

With those two being sold for a combined fee of £26m Arsenal bought Joel Ward from Crystal Palace for £8m and Ante Coric from Dinamo Zagreb for £1.8m
''We needed a left-back after the departure of Monreal, Ward was naturally a righ-back, but he is more than capable to play as a left-back, and he is English, wich is always good. Coric is a young wonderkid from Croatia, I believe he can become the next Luka Modric'', said Bould in the presentation of the two Arsenal Players.

His value was really high, and I was like ''Let's try to make some money with this guy.But I thought I would have to as for less than that, but Marseille offered the money :).
I am still stunned with the value of the transfers, got a lot of money with ''deadwood''

Chelsea Wins the Community Shield
http://i62.tinypic.com/2ef26bm.jpg

Chelsea just won the Community Shield by beating Arsenal in the Community Shield 3-0.
Arsenal got dominated by Chelsea.Arsenal players were ''asleep'' while Chelsea battered them 3-0 at Wembley.

No one in the Arsenal team seemed good enough to challenge for the title, despite spending £55m in new signings, while chelsea (who only spent £600k in the signing of Jesús Vallejo) appeared to be devastating and ready to win back to back Premier Leagues.
You can argue that Chelsea already had a team, and they didn't need anyone, but still, to lose 3-0 on the 1st game isn't the best impression left by Steve Bould. Is he the right choice or was Jürgen Klopp the best choice? These are all the questions that will be answered at the the end of the season. Arsenal have their next game in 7 days(BPL) agains Stoke, and they have untill then to prove they're a team to challenge for the title

Arsenal 5-1 Stoke City
A Nice BIG win for Arsenal a week after they lost the F.A Cup to Chelsea. The gunner's won 5-1 against a team that finished the 14/15 season winning 6-1 against Liverpool.
http://i60.tinypic.com/2lstusg.png http://i58.tinypic.com/34t7lg4.png
Arsenal started the game demolishing Stoke, with Cazorla scoring in the first 5 minutes.
http://i58.tinypic.com/2h834o6.png
Here's Cazorla celebrating the goal.
Two minutes later the new boy Scheiderlin scored. After he stole the ball from Glenn Whelan, he started a counter-atack, wich resulted on him being free and finishing like an absolute striker.
In the 39th minute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a tap in after a good cross from Kieran Gibbs.
Hummels and Joel Ward made their debut's for Arsenal, proving themselves worthy of wearing Arsenal's kit after a solid perfomance.
In the 47th minute Marc Wilson scored and own-goal.Another own goal would appear in the 61th minute with the other Stoke's defender Philipp's Wollscheid mistake.
Stoke's goal came 4 minutes later from Mame Diouf. Diouf and Steven Ireland were the only good players in Stoke's lineup.

Arsenal have another game in 6 days against Swansea at the Liberty City Stadium
How was August for Arsenal?

http://i58.tinypic.com/28ktvk7.png

Arsenal didn't start this month that well..The Gunners lost 3-0 to Chelsea in the Community and appeared to be the same old Arsenal, complacent when needed.
Even though it was the first game in charge for Steve Bould, the fans were already asking a new manager, the popular choice was Jürgen Klopp.
However, Arsenal seemed really different 7 days after the game agains Chelsea, winning 5-1 against Stoke(who finished the 14/15 season beating Liverpool 6-1).
In that game Arsenal looked like a real title contender, just like Bould said they would be.
Arsenal didn't even let Stoke breathe, resulting on two own goals from Marc Wilson and Philipp Wollscheid.

6 days later the gunners had to beat Swansea at the Liberty City Stadium, and they managed to do that easily, in fact Arsenal dominated the game AGAIN.
http://i60.tinypic.com/10z8snq.pnghttp://i57.tinypic.com/20060ki.png
Arsenal started the game with high intensity, wich managed to get Swansea in panic, causing Santi Cazorla to score in the 14th minute. However, they lowered the tempo and 15 minutes after Arsenal's goal, Gylfi Sigurðsson managed to score and tie the game. Except Swansea didn't count on Bould to be as angry as he got, the Arsenal manager was furious with the team and the team responded well, because 2 minutes later(32) Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the 2-1 for arsenal.
The game was pretty tight from that moment on, and could have gone to either team...That team was Arsenal, because the much criticized striker scored..Yeah, you guessed it, it was Olivier Giroud with a clinical finishing. The assist went to Morgan Schneiderlin.

http://i60.tinypic.com/ejshti.jpg
Arsenal won the game against Swansea after losing it last season at the Emirates.

But, the big test(other than the one against Chelsea) would only come in the 3rd game of the Premier League, against Everton at home.
http://i59.tinypic.com/n5t3py.jpg

Arsenal were trying to get a win after Everton lost 5-0 to Chelsea.
http://i59.tinypic.com/v5jrpc.png http://i58.tinypic.com/2znmxpc.png
The Arsenal team was hoping that Everton would be damaged and fragile after the BIG lost agains Chelsea, 5-0. It was everything but that, the Toffees started the game really well, leaving the message that they weren't playing around and that they wanted the 3 points, and that was exactly what the fans wanted. Lukaku scored a header in the 14th minute, and it looked like they were going to win the game from the perfomance from the first 15 minutes, however, Arsenal responded and 4 minutes later with Giroud scoring a tap-in. From that moment on it all looked tied, the stats and the game, even the fans looked the same! Like the game against Swansea, it could go either side..And again it went to Arsenal. From a corner Mertesacker scored in the 27th minute, making it 2-1.
The game ended like that, and everyone was wondering ''What's the difference between Wenger and Bould?''
And the answer was, Wenger looks like he is going to win..Bould actually wins it.

It was the end of the month, soo Arsenal put up a vote to see who was the player of the month.
And that player was...

http://i57.tinypic.com/nl66pt.jpg

Santi Cazorla! And here at goal.com we agree, the left winger(position he is now playing) was absolutely World Class, and was vital in all the games(Even in the game against Chelsea..He was probably Arsenal's best player in that game)
For the BPL Awards, Bould won the manager of the month award, Zárate won the Player of the month and Oxlade-Chamberlain won the young player of the month award.
Arsenal have a game against Man.United in 14 days, after the Internation break.
Just caught up with the story in its entirety. Really good signings, and smart selling of the old folk in Arsenal right now. I really liked that you had Bould replace Wenger, rather than a big personality. It seems realistic.
Got a little worried when I saw that Stoke update. Stories with match-after-match updates usually fail, but the August review post was good and made me feel better. Nice month for Arsenal, except of course losing to Chelsea. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Thanks, I felt really bad losing to Chelsea, but they already have their team..And i'm still building it.
The Stoke Result was a really good result and made everything better. I really enjoyed the signings too!
And the part of the match-after match- after match situation was something I was experimenting.. But I soon discovered that It was too much, it is really tiring to post everyday just to post 1 match. From now on I'm going to posto every month(in game)..However there might be exceptions(like games against big teams..).
Just wait untill You see our UCL GROUP, it is similiar to the 13/14 group!
First time I've seen your story TalkingBurger and I'm really impressed by the quality of your updates and layout.

Great signings in Schneiderlin and Hummels too
