SKY SPORTS NEWS:
Everton appoint unproven English manager

In a sudden shock move former Everton manager of 1 year, Roberto Martinez has decided to step down from his post as Everton manager due to issues back home.

However, even more surprising is the sudden appointment of the Sarajevo-born Owen Shaw.

The young 28 year old manager from Skelmersdale, Lancashire has taken the job at Everton on a one year deal which suggests the risk the board are taking with an unproven manager.

Despite having a short career however, Shaw did notch up 24 international caps for Bosnia-Herzegovina, scoring 5 times.

Shaw's career was cut short after a horrific knee injury in a a Barclay's Premier League game in 2010 for playing for Everton against Arsenal. From this, Shaw worked on getting his coaching qualifications and aimed to return as a coach as soon as possible.

By taking this job, Shaw became the youngest ever manager in the Barclay's Premier League.
