*Thanks to AaronHJFT96 for the idea*

In this tale of greatness(ish), the aim is to win the Champions League with all previous winners - a list of which can be found below...

Aston Villa
AC Milan
Bayern Munich
Borussia Dortmund
Inter Milan
Manchester United
Nottingham Forest
Real Madrid
Red Star Belgrade
Steaua Bucharest

In the spirit of organisation, i'm going to do this in alphabetical order, and will update this post with an index for each club, which will contain monthly updates, and final standings for each season, along with what season I manage to complete the goal of winning the Champions League...

YES TaT this is what im talking about!
This is going to be amazing if you can make it last!

Season One: Ajax

Dutch club Ajax, based in Amsterdam, have won the Champions League 4 times in their history (1970/71, 71/72, 73/74 and most recently 1994/95.) It may be 20 years since their last triumph, but they are the first on the list of clubs which I will attempt to restore to their former glory.

At present, the club have some incredible talents in the form of players such as Richario Zivkovic, Lasse Schone and Abdelhak Nouri - but purely relying on youngsters isn't the way I want to run the club: i'll be focusing on developing a core team of great talents, and supplementing that core with players who suit the passing, attacking style I want to develop.

As with the first season at any club, transfers will be key this season - i've got a few targets in mind, and will release a full transfer update soon. I've not figured out how to Screenshot on my mac yet, but as soon as I do, updates will be fully detailed with images as well - for now though, updates may be a bit wordy - bear with it, and enjoy!

Interesting idea, good luck!
This is super swik.

Pre-Season 2014

Well, my first few games in charge were something of an eye-opener. We struggled against teams we should really be beating easily, eventually finishing 3rd in a friendly cup, after a tough loss to Italian Giants Roma in the first round.

What was truly important here though, was getting some goals on the board, and letting the squad gel, and settle in the two new tactics i've brought to the club. Looking at it now, Ajax was probably the best place to start my Challenge - the domestic league shouldn't be too hard, but Europe will be just the right level of challenging that it may take a few years to get the title in the bag.

Dutch Supercup 2014 - Ajax v Zwolle

As pre-season drew to a close, we started looking forwards to our first chance at silverware in the new season. Zwolle, our opponents, are predicted to finish around 10th in the league this season, at odds of 200-1 - so I wasn't expecting the most difficult game today, but it was still important to keep the boys focused.

Over summer, we've strengthened massively, and the team I put out today looked dangerous from the outset, never giving Zwolle a chance to settle.

Ajax Starting XI: Jasper Cillessen, Ricardo van Rhijn, Joel Veltman, Niklas Moisander (c), Nick Viergever, Sergi Samper, Lucas Romero, Thulani Serero, Lasse Schone, Ricardo Kishna, Richario Zivkovic

Zwolle Starting XI: Warner Hahn, Bram van Polen (c), Trent Sainsbury, Maikel van der Werff, Dean Patrico, Barry Maguire, Wout Brama, Ben Reinstra, Jesper Drost, Mustafa Saymak, Tomas Necid

We looked dangerous from the very start, Richario Zivkovic netting within just 2 minutes to put us 1-0 ahead, converting a brilliant through ball from Lucas Romero and leaving Warner Hahn flat footed as the ball whizzed past his outstretched fingers.

From that moment on, we were the dominant side - our passing and ability to cut through the Zwolle defence had our fans on their feet; the tension in the stadium could have been cut with a knife...and just 8 minutes later, Lasse Schone broke the invisible barrier with a beautifully struck goal from 25 yards, sending our fans into raptures.

Party mode was well and truly engaged just 14 minutes afterwards, when Zivkovic netted his second to make it 3-0, and from then we were coasting, playing through the remainder of the game with a confidence and style which made it difficult to believe we had a team still adjusting to a new style of play and new team-mates.

A 3-0 Victory, and our first trophy, sets us up very well for the coming season, and with a couple more targets in mind, we're looking excellent
A solid victory and your first cup! Doesn't get much better in a first game!
Solid win against a very average side. Next stop, Eredivisie

Good luck
