Hello everybody and welcome to PSV Eindhoven - This Is Our House Now where I aim to take PSV to the very top of the European ranks. This is my first ever time writing on Football Manager and my first time contributing to the FM Community, so hello I guess! I look forward to writing about my FM save and sharing my skills with you guys!

I'm pretty sure you all know of PSV Eindhoven, a Dutch club who recently won the Dutch title, beating the likes of Ajax and Feyernoord to claim it, they also have a fantastic youth academy and have a very young squad, of course Memphis Depay comes to mind, however, he has left the Red and White colours of PSV to join the red of Manchester United. How will the club fair without him in the league and Champions League campaign? PSV have won the league 22 twice and have even won the European Cup twice, can we make it a third anytime soon I wonder?

The manager will of course be the current manager of PSV, Phillip Cocu, who led the young squad of PSV to the league title, as already said and has built a squad of youth and a lot of talent for the future. Cocu is a very underrated manager too, as despite his recent successes, many people still do not know of the fantastic work he has done for the club and this is where he aims for change...

Good luck with story, although I would consider myself more of Feyenoord fan.

PSV Eindhoven have today agreed a 1.6M offer for 22 year old Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro. The Brazilian has agreed personal terms and is set to move to the Dutch side subject to a medical which is believed to be scheduled for Sunday and then join the squad next week.



Casemiro, who played last season out on loan at Porto, has not been part of Madrid's plans since joining from Sao Paulo in 2012 and has spent most of histime in the B team at Castilla after only making 13 appearances for the first team. However, he is tipped to become one of the world's best in the near future and many have questioned the fee of which Los Galaticos have sold the center midfielder for.

The 22 year old said in an interview, "I am excited to be part of a good young set-up here and am expecting great things from this club. I want to build on my career and felt my time at Real Madrid was beneficial but felt like the move here was a better decision. PSV are a very successful club and will be featuring in a competition I have always wanted to be a part of the UEFA Champions League and I want to get this club and my career as far as possible. I want to thank all of the staff at Madrid for the times we had there and for all they did for me and also want to thank all the people who supported me, once again, thank you."


Along with this deal, PSV are set to sign Ron Vlaar who's contract expired at the end of last season, Vlaar was linked with Manchester United, however United failed to make a offer to Vlaar and PSV quickly pounced on the experienced head of his. We believe that the contract offer agreed was around 25k per week. Vlaar's agent said, "We're delighted to agree a deal here and also glad to immediately find a suitable club for Ron's conditions, he has wanted to win trophies and feels like he can win them here."
