Arsene Wenger Resigns

After 19 years at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger has resigned as Arsenal manager after falling out with the owners. It is believed he was fed up with not having funds available to sign the players he wants.

Arsenal have been known to keeping expenses down and not over spending on bringing players in. But in recent years they have spent a lot on two players, which are; Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for £42.5 Million and Alexis Sanchez of Barcelona for £35 Million.

But it is believed that Arsene has asked for another year of big spending to push for a title challenge. But this has been rejected by the board and this has left Arsene angry and feeling he has to resign now before the fans start blaming him.

Now Arsenal have to try and look for a new manager before their new campaign begins. Bookies have made Jurgen Klopp the favourite to take over the helm. Other candidates are Zenit St. Petersburgh's boss Andre Villas Boas, Ajax's boss Frank De Boer and unknown manager Bradley Boreland.

Bradley Boreland is believed to be really keen on the job after meeting the clubs chairman Chips Keswick. But Bradley seems to want the board to grant him the chance to turn Arsenal a unbeatable team buy buying the best players which would require money.

The board are believed to be interested in Bradley as well but will look for other candidates if he does not agree to their terms which is to not spend a lot of money in each transfer window.
Both AVB and Klopp reject Arsenal Approach

Both candidates, Klopp and AVB, have pulled out of the running for the Arsenal job. Both have stated they wouldn't take the job unless the board give them funds to create their own teams.

Klopp also stated that he is also very happy at Dortmund and would only leave if the Dortmund fans and board do not want them. But as it stands, that will not be any time soon as they class him as a legend of the club.

AVB also stated that he is happy at Zenit and doesn't feel a move back to England now would be a good carrier move. AVB has had previous spells in England with Chelsea and Totenham both leading in him being sacked.

This leaves the door wide open for Bradley Boreland to take the helm but the only factor is the transfer budget. Bradley still believed to be real keen on the job but won't back down on the transfer budget scenario.
Interview with Bradley Boreland

Billy Wylie has caught up with Bradley Boreland ahead of his interview with Arsenal Football Club.

Billy: Hi Bradley, Billy Wylie from Sky Sports News, thanks for coming, I am sure you have a busy schedule.

Bradley: Yes I have but I am glad you wanted this Interview as it will show people what I am like with the public.

Billy: Great, You have recently applied for the vacant role as manager for Arsenal Football Club. Why have you decided it is you that can take them forward with no experience what so ever?

Bradley: Yes, I have as I feel I won't need to prove to anyone if I get the job as manager. People will see that I am the man for the job when the results come in and the team starts playing really well. I hope to bring stability, motivation, determination and charisma to the team.

Billy: That seems great on paper but it needs to be shown on the pitch. You recently had a meeting with Mr Chips Keswick. Can you tell us what this meeting was all about?

Bradley: Yes I did. It was really just a chit chat. When I applied for the Arsenal job I asked if we could meet up for lunch and thankfully he agreed. We just discussed how that I would take the team forward and that their were other candidates being lined up to take the job. Luckily for me they have stated that they do not want the job.

Billy: You have asked them to give you a big transfer budget so you can reshape the team. How did that go down?

Bradley: He just said that he doesn't want to spend big this year, like they have in the last 2 seasons but he agrees that they need a reshape.

Billy: Well, as an Arsenal supporter myself, I hope you get what you need to make the team a bit better for a title push. I am sure you are busy today so I will end this meeting here. Thanks for your time.

Bradley: Yes I have lunch with my girlfriend in 30 minutes. But it has been a pleasure talking to you and will probably see you again soon.
So who is Bradley Boreland

Bit about Bradley: Bradley has lived in Northern Ireland all his life until he moved to London to further his career in the sports industry. Breaking News

Arsenal Chairman Mr. Chips Keswick has released a statement stating that who ever will take over will get the funds they need to create a team they want. It is believed they made the decision after their targets decided not to leave their current clubs.

PSG manager Laurant Blanc was asked to take over but again the decision not to supply funds made up his decision to stay at PSG, who have the financial firepower to supply him with money.

With no manager coming up to the start of the season, Mr Keswick has decided enough is enough and will give the new manager to funds he needs.

With every manager saying no to Arsenal there is only one person who still seems interested and that is Bradley Boreland.

Bradley is bookies favourite to take the job after seeing odds slashed from 40/1 to 5/1. Along with the likes of Diego Simeone (3/1) and frank de Boer (2/5)

Some fans have stated that they want the new manager in before the start of the Premier League. So that the manager can get the players in he wants and get a good pre-season out of the way. When asking the fans who they would like to see manager, the majority of the votes are towards frank de Boer.

Poll: Frank de Boer: 45%
Diego Simeone: 32%
Bradley Boreland: 23%
Shock appointment at Arsenal Football Club

There has been a shock in the Premier League and more importantly Arsenal FC as they hire unknown manager Bradley Boreland.

Bradley who has no managerial experience has signed a one year contract will take charge as of today. Arsenal are taking a big risk with Bradley but want to show him that they are grateful for his patience and his keenness of the Arsenal Job.

We have caught up with Mr Keswick and have asked for a few words.

Reporter: Mr. Kewsick, you have decided to hire an unknown manager in Bradley Boreland. Can you tell us why you have hired him?

Chips: I will be releasing a press conference in dew course and I will not say anything now. I have to meet up with Bradley soon to sort out some final details, such as the transfer budget. Thank you.

We will just have to wait and see what is said in the press conference in a few days but it is believed that Bradley will be given a transfer budget of around £40 Million
What Bradley needs to do to make Arsenal the best team around

Arsenal are a great team with great youth facilities to bring through young talent. They also have a decent team to compete for the title but what do they need to push them over that line and actually compete.

In the past 10 years since they won the league, back in 03/04 season, they have never seemed to get to that height. Always seeming to get the 3rd or 4th spot. But with a new manager, who seems up to the challenge, we know what they ,must do to get to the league title.

A quality striker

Arsenal have been known to have great strikers, with the biggest one being Thierry Henry. But since his departure to Barcelona, they have not got an amazing striker. Olivier Giroud seems to be the man they have put their trust in, but is he a striker to get them the league?

With Danny Welbeck coming in, from Manchester United for £16 Million, they have 2 good strikers but they aren't the type of players to get 20+ goals a season. Every team who wants to compete for the title need that sort of striker to get the goals.

Get rid of dead wood

An obvious point in this list is getting rid of the dead wood that won't and hasn't performed through the seasons.

With the likes of Abou Diaby, who always seems to be injured, needs to be shipped off. Fringe players like Mathieu Flamini, Natxo Monreal and Thomas Rosicky need to be sold and replaced with quality players.

Keep Jack Wilshere fit

We all know the type of player Jack Wilshere is, but he can get injured at any time, but when he is fit he can be a great player who will motivate the players, score goals and assist in goals. Wilshere also came through the youth system and is a great role model for other players in the youth system who are looking to push into the first team.

Sort out the defence

Everyone knows a great team need a great defence. Something Arsenal do not have at the minute. Their best defenders are, French international Laurent Koscielney and German international Per Mertersacker. These two would be their best defenders but also have Gabriel Paulista who could put a claim on the first team, but highly unlikely, unless someone gets injured.

Finally, spend money

Arsenal are a team that do not like spending money, but with other teams like City, Chelsea and United all pumping money into their team, Arsenal will fall behind.

Money brings success. City have shown this by bringing in players on high fees and thus winning the league, twice. Arsenal need to follow suit and keep spending on players that will bring them success.
Bradley Boreland, with a name like that, you should be returning catenaccio to prominence. Good luck to you, although I'm sure Arsenal will be just fine.

yeah lol i just want them to win the league and champs league
Two Leave Arsenal

Two players have left Arsenal on loan, which are Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin. Both two young players that didn't seem in manager Bradley's plans have gone out on loan to gain experience, with Bellerin going to Blackburn and Coquelin going to Sunderland.

Bellerin who signed from Barcelona on a free has stated he is happy he has joined Blackburn as he feels they will play him more often than Arsenal would. He hopes that he will be able to push into the Arsenal team next season and show what he is capable of.

Coquelin seems to be ever out on loan with teams and doesn't feel he is wanted by Bradley or Arsenal. With an option to buy in the deal of £5 million, he hopes that he impresses at Sunderland for them to buy him at the end of the season.

With these two players leaving the club on loan, Bradley needs to get cover for these players. William Carvalho of Sporting has been scouted for a few weeks now and it is believed Bradley is going to sign him in the next few days.

Bradley also has shown interest in Velez midfielder, Lucas Romero. Romero who is 20, at his next birthday, is a great prospect for the future seems interested in a move to England. With Bradley showing interest in two midfielders, we believe he has shown the door to another midfielder and is looking to replace him.
