What’s up and welcome to a manager story from Championship Manager 2001-2002! “What?” U may ask. Well, I’ve already got permission from Stam to post in the FM 15 manager stories page. So, let’s get straight into the story!

Being a scientist, my dad always comes up with random and crazy things, today was no exception. My dad came up with an apparent “time machine”, which could travel you through time to whenever you wanted, I said “14-07-2001, I wanted to see how football was in those days.” Dad was a magician, and travelled me back through time. I came into the 2001 world, and found myself as Blackburn Rovers manager. “Wo..Woah… Why am I here? I want to go back!! No!!” I couldn’t find that machine again, and I needed to survive in this world for 14 years before I can go and see my parents again. I thought I was very unlucky, but I also was excited for what was coming up for me as Blackburn manager.

Transfers Update Part 1
Blackburn’s Transfer Budget: 22,000,000

I delved into the transfer window trying to sign some players for the team, with a 2015 mindset, I decided to ask my scout to scout Lionel Messi, Neymar and Gareth Bale. My scout said, “what? Who are them? They aren’t even in our network!” “Wait … they are playing at Spain, don’t you know?” “What club?” My scouts asked. Barcelona and Real Madrid was the club, but I suddenly realised that this was 14 years before our current world, and I said, “never mind, I’ll set you on some scouting missions later.”
The scouts left and left me thinking, what players I could sign, and I suddenly remembered Cristiano Ronaldo was a free agent at the time, so I contacted him to sign for the club.
