first of all, I'm new, not to FM - been playing for years but new on this site - so if ive posted in the wrong place please let me know.
Anyway, I'm currently at Inter in the Serie A, in the year 2030. Last season just before the January window, my board out of the blue reduced my wage budget by 700k, and this season in November they did exactly the same leaving me 700k in the red in wages for the second year running.
I'm quite confused as to why this is. Both times my finances have looked healthy, if not impressive. I've been winning trophies left right and centre too.
Last season I won every trophy possible, including the champions league and we have continued this into my current season winning the club world championship, even on top of winning every trophy possible we went the whole season unbeaten (then lost 3-1 to Roma on the opening day of this season - oops).
can someone please explain what is going on? I'm not overspending as I always spend transfer budget within my limits as well as wage, and additionally I have won everything. Why does the board keep doing this? Last season was okay as I had a few oldies still on massive wages that I could sell and a few players I could loan out, whereas this time I've had to sell two 30m players. Seriously considering leaving as ive not had this problem before.
why do they keep giving me big budgets if they are going to cut them by 700k a few months later??
