I shall be starting a story soon with my favourite team Chelsea!

I wont be updating every single day as work usually stops me from playing everyday

P.S Seriously never go into a security job, they take up your life. Id much rather be playing FM

I intend to do a Youth orientated save with most of my signings being at least under 22
If you have any suggestions of signings or tactics then they are most welcome :)
Hope you all enjoy!

P.P.S I'll stick with my Jaminge name, don't wanna go upsetting the other Glenn on this as he is a god.
I am a Chelsea supporter so will be following! Good luck!

Thank you dude! :)
I don't know who this man is but he must be really good to be given the keys to Chelsea. People say managing such a big club is easy but it's much easier to crash a Ferrari than it is a Kia. Good luck.
Good luck with this, I'll gladly help you with some nice GFX :)
Chelsea are a good team on FM, so look forward to it :)

Breaking news!
Jose Mourinho Sacked!

News coming out of Chelsea FC today is that the man who lead them to the title last year has been sacked. So far nobody has came out from the club and explained what's happening although we do have some news as too who the candidates are for the vacant manager position.

Jurgen Klopp
Antonio Conte
Diego Simeone
Glenn Freeman

Some of those names you might know but the one name everyone is interested in is Glenn Freeman, who is this guy and how has he got in the final picks for the next manager of Chelsea FC?

Roman Abramovich has called a press conference for 10am tomorrow so hopefully we'll find out more then.

The new manager of Chelsea FC is.....?

In a shocking turn of events Roman Abramovich has cancelled the press conference he was meant to stage.

We can now tell you that the new manager of Chelsea FC is Glenn Freeman!

What do we know about this guy?

He is 22 years old and comes from Oxford
He has supported Chelsea all his life and apparently his only accomplishments in football have been on the video game Football Manager.
He wrote to Abramovich saying that the Chelsea team is too old and will not defend their title for another year. Abramovich saw this letter and personally called him to ask Mr Freeman what he would do.
Obviously impressed by Mr Freeman's philosophy's he then fired club legend and title winning manager Jose Mourinho.

Roman did come out today to say a few words.

"I have employed this young man because he seems to know what to do with the club. I have informed him that he has 5 professional matches to prove his worth. I will be providing him with a transfer kitty of £71 million and has full control over all transfers and sales. He will not be talking to any of the press as he needs to focus on the pre-season and transfer business. That is all."
Interesting choice to go with someone completely unknown, hopefully he will be able to replicated Mourinho's successes with the Blues!

Day 1 as Chelsea Boss

Just a heads up this post is the only one that im going to be full on writing, although this does come with a screenshot at the bottom, I will return to normal posts either later on today or tomorrow morning.

Well what a week! Being appointed as Chelsea boss is a dream come true, I just hope I don't let the fans down especially with me being one myself.
First on my agenda was meeting the staff. I had informed chief scout Piet de Visser that I wanted him to take over with the scouting assignments and he was perfectly happy with the extra responsibility. Next up was Steve Holland, he was straight away asking questions as too how I would like him to function. I must admit I was a bit cocky in saying "Just follow my lead and one day you will become a successful manager too!" He just took it with a grain of salt and headed towards the training ground.

I wasn't taking the first training session as my whole day was just booked with meetings with staff and players alike. I first went to see the players and after some friendly introductions I informed them all that the title would be won this year. Ramires and Filipe Luis were very strong in saying they don't think we have enough to win the league. I pulled them over to one side and asked them "Do you want to be here or do you want to leave, because I cannot have players bringing down the morale." They both told me that they wanted to stay and apologised for there comments.

Next up was Michael Emenalo, the director of football. He called a meeting to find out what sort of transfers I would like and where I think the team needed to be strengthened. I straight away told him the positions I would like.
"Now I know for sure that I would like to strengthen the depth of full backs, as I consider Filipe and Cesar as the only two we have, Branislav is more of a centre back to me. I would also like to get another winger and central attacking midfielder in. Finally I would like a good backup striker that can grow and challenger Diego for the first team. So who would you recommend to me?"

Michael was shocked that I straight away had signalled my intention and actually commented that I seemed way too professional for a beginner. He the proceeded in telling me 12 players that he thinks I should really try and get.

Full Backs: Jetro Willems, Nathanial Clyne, Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro and Layvin Kurzawa
Wingers: Jeal-Paul Boetius, Bilal Basacikoglu, Bernard and Ahmed Musa
AMC's: Roberto Firmino, Juan Fernando Quintero and Adam Maher

You may notice that he didn't recommend any strikers. He says that he doesn't think any would be a decent enough back-up too Diego, so straight away I will look for my own and prove him wrong.

After such a stressful day of meetings and idiotic staff members not knowing anything I have finally arrived home. I will definetly come back tomorrow refreshed and ready to shake some things up, after today I might have to get rid of some of the staff aswell.
2015-07-29 07:38#217223 Tallery : Interesting choice to go with someone completely unknown, hopefully he will be able to replicated Mourinho's successes with the Blues!

Hopefully! I mean he only has 5 games to prove himself so it might be a short career!

Transfer News & Rumours

News coming out of Stamford Bridge of some potential transfers today. Glenn Freeman has been given a substantial budget by the powers that be but more surprisingly is that he really isn't spending much of it.

First up is Sascha Horvath, a young Austrian winger from FK Austria Wien. Horvath can play AMC and MC and has the potential to be an amazing star. Chelsea are rumoured to have offered £2 million straight for Horvath.

Next up is Demarai Gray from Birmingham City. Demarai is a winger that can play on both sides and came onto the scene last season when he helped Birmingham avoid relegation with some amazing performances. Chelsea have apparently offered a grand total of £8 million with £3 million upfront and another £5 million in monthly instalments and bonuses.

Finally the marquee rumour so far seems to be English Southampton right back Nathanial Clyne. Chelsea have definitely signalled there intent in beating the other top teams to this signing as many other clubs have been rumoured to be preparing a bid. Glenn Freeman has apparently offered a huge £17 million packet with a £10 million upfront bid.

With all the rumours flying about Mr Freeman will definitely be busy this summer, but one thing is for sure. He is sticking with his philosophy's in signing young players.
Some good signings there :)

Breaking News!

Some breaking news coming out of Chelsea today.
The bids for Demarai Gray and Sascha Horvath have been accepted and contracts are definitely on the table.

Mr Freeman came out to comment today, "Of course there coming to Chelsea, I mean this is the best club in the world so they'd be stupid to reject us"

We are certain that we know the facial expression of Mr Freeman after learning of his successful bids!

IWelshWizard: Havent signed them just yet...bids have been accepted just in the negotiation phase now, fingers crossed though!
