Villas-Boas enjoying a good start with Chelsea

Andre Villas-Boas has enjoyed a very good start at Chelsea since his return. Abrahmovic knew bringing the Portuguese back would be a massive risk after his return to Stamford Bridge after a poor first spell. Since AVB joined Chelsea they are yet to lose a league game and currently sit top of the table. He spent a fair bit of money with a net spend of £26 million.

In Villas-Boas' next 2 games he will face two of his former sides in Tottenham Hotspur and Porto!

AVB admits Chelsea are in real danger of not getting past Champions League groups

After Chelsea's 4-2 loss away against Porto Chelsea's manager AVB has admitted they will struggle to qualify for the Champions League knock out stages.

AVB bought on Falcao at half time in what was thought to be a 4-4-2, switching from his normal 4-2-3-1 to try and make a fight back but that looks to have backfired as his team ended up conceding 4 before Diego Costa managed to pull 2 back in the last 10 minutes.

Former Porto player Falcao who is on loan at Chelsea has revealed how furious AVB was in the dressing room at full time as he locked them all in the room whilst talking to them!

Chelsea pick up vital win in Rome

Chelsea managed to win 3-1 in Rome to pick up a crucial 3 points in Champions League Group F as they have moved from bottom up to 2nd and are now in with a chance of qualifying for the next round.

Chelsea manager AVB said: "We started the game with our normal game plan, patient build up from the back but after the 70th minute the patience went out the window and I told the lads to go route one and just get goals, no matter how - thankfully it paid off and we are now in a stronger position than we we're in the last game week"
