Integer Overflov Error



i hv this problem. I untick 'Compress save game', and i play on 10.1 version.

btw steam has nothing to do with genie, because you load the save game file, not use it during play.

its just a few bugs im quite sure will be fixed as soon as possible by Eugene. be patient. :)

just a quick hint: most of us using the version 10.0.1, but it was originally a 10.0.0 savegame.
i saved my original savegame right after database was generated. its version 10.0.0. scout works on it.
after patch was released, i updated the game. scout drops error messages on my savegames for version 10.0.1.

i'd rather not attach my savegames, because i use a very large database. even my starting save is larger than 300mb.

I don't think the problem is the patch, because I'm running 10.1 and Genie 10 works fine. Any other difference between your 10.0 and 10.1 savegames?

i'd say there is a difference, based on you can't load 10.1 saves with a 10.0 game version (an error message pops if you attempt to do it).

and as i said, my save is originally a 10.0, but after patch was released, i continued it with 10.1. but its only a hint, however i think its worth to check.

Guys .... I was doing a search and found that "integer overflow" and caused by excessive bit ... That is the problem is that you are trying to open saved games too great.
I tried with a saved game of 100MB and has not .... I tried with a 80 MB and has therefore set up .... Games saved with up to 80MB .... not activate all leagues ... I have the top 10 leagues worldwide only.

Are you trying to say that loading save game up to 80MB works and bigger than 80MB causes the "integer overflow" error?

no its not an integer overflow error, so my posts are slightly offtopic. its the another coomon problem with error loading entity number in line #xyz (18 in my case) while loading persons. there is a screenshot from it a bit above in QBz's 3rd post.
