Watford today have confirmed that Slavisa Jokanovic has left the club. The Slovak hadn't even managed a game at the club, which has enfuriated watford legends like Luther Blisset, John Barnes and Elton John. The Serbian just said that he felt unsettled in London, and it is rumoured he is returning to Serbia.
However, Watford have confirmed his replacement, and for many it is a surprise as 27 year old former Bolton man Fabrice Muamba has been announced as the new man in charge. Some have said that this is a bad deal, but John Barnes disagrees.
"This is a good deal. He is new to management and will be hungry to prove he can win games and trophies. A great deal by Watford."
Elton John has also praised the move saying "He wouldn't have been the one I would have picked but he has a footballing brain and I think that as this is his first job, he will be wanting to prove he can fight with the big boys, just as he did as a player. A good piece of business."
Muamba talked to our journalist and said "I'm very excited. This is a fantastic club, with a great selection of players. I feel that this club deserves to be back in the premier league and I am proud to be given the chance at the club and I can't wait to get started."
Fabrice Muamba hasn't waited long to get started, bringing in a new face. Not just any new face either.

Martin Odegaard will join the club in january when he will be 16 years of age. The Norwegian is considered the next big thing, and amid rumours that clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea where going to try sign the youngster, Watford have completed a deal currently worth just £2.5 million, with an additional £2.5 million on promotion to the premier league.
"I am please to sign Martin" said manager Muamba. "He is a great young talent and can be the next Norwegian superstar. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer better watch out, cause his title as Norway's best male footballer may be changing hands"
He also convinced Southampton to part with £7.5 million for Gabrielle Angella. The defender was only valued at around £6 million, and the Saints where only willing to pay £4 million (with add ons making a huge part of it) so well done there Fabrice.
