Muamba: I want to be a manager!

Today, Fabrice Muamba has confirmed that he will be trying to get into management. The 27 year old hasn't had a role in football since retiring in 2012 after suffering a cardiac arrest during a march fa cup game between his club Bolton and Tottenham Hotspur. Muamba today admits he wants to get into management and become like his first manager in football, Arsene Wenger. Fabrice Muamba started his career at Arsenal, but didn't make any appearances at the club before joining Birmingham on loan in 2006. He then moved permanently in 2007 making 71 appearances in total scoring 2 goals. He then joined Bolton for £5 million after Birmingham's one season relegation, and proceeded to make 130 appearances for the club, and many considered him to be close to playing for the England full team.

This is an interesting development. Will anyone want to bring the former England Under 21 player to their club as manager? It's early days, but the signs don't seem bright.

This has been a FM Scout report. Tune in next time to see any developments in the story.

Watford today have confirmed that Slavisa Jokanovic has left the club. The Slovak hadn't even managed a game at the club, which has enfuriated watford legends like Luther Blisset, John Barnes and Elton John. The Serbian just said that he felt unsettled in London, and it is rumoured he is returning to Serbia.

However, Watford have confirmed his replacement, and for many it is a surprise as 27 year old former Bolton man Fabrice Muamba has been announced as the new man in charge. Some have said that this is a bad deal, but John Barnes disagrees.

"This is a good deal. He is new to management and will be hungry to prove he can win games and trophies. A great deal by Watford."

Elton John has also praised the move saying "He wouldn't have been the one I would have picked but he has a footballing brain and I think that as this is his first job, he will be wanting to prove he can fight with the big boys, just as he did as a player. A good piece of business."

Muamba talked to our journalist and said "I'm very excited. This is a fantastic club, with a great selection of players. I feel that this club deserves to be back in the premier league and I am proud to be given the chance at the club and I can't wait to get started."

Fabrice Muamba hasn't waited long to get started, bringing in a new face. Not just any new face either.

Martin Odegaard will join the club in january when he will be 16 years of age. The Norwegian is considered the next big thing, and amid rumours that clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea where going to try sign the youngster, Watford have completed a deal currently worth just £2.5 million, with an additional £2.5 million on promotion to the premier league.

"I am please to sign Martin" said manager Muamba. "He is a great young talent and can be the next Norwegian superstar. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer better watch out, cause his title as Norway's best male footballer may be changing hands"

He also convinced Southampton to part with £7.5 million for Gabrielle Angella. The defender was only valued at around £6 million, and the Saints where only willing to pay £4 million (with add ons making a huge part of it) so well done there Fabrice.

I think he will. I mean it is Watford. I don't see them going down in real life, so when I get them to the prem, that is where they will stay I hope.
Best of luck! You have goal machines in the name of Deeney and Vydra. Remember to use your links with Granada and Udinese
Love Muamba, will be following!

I didn't at first but by January, I did start to, and come the beginning of the next season, yeah, new signings were made using Udinese. Not so much Granada.
