Cracking start to the season, just like last season - 3 wins on the bounce all 2-1, Dringhouses, Supermarine Sports and Stocksbridge Reserves all put to the sword.

Danny Hirst 2, Ryan Whitehurst, Chris Price, Dave Whittaker and Angus Langton scoring the goals.

Ryan Whitehurst 3, Chris Price, Joe Halsall and Alfie Carter setting the goals up.

Danny Hirst and Daniel Pollitt with a couple of man of the match awards.

Alfir Carter one yellow card are pretty much the numbers.

2 league games coming up and our very first FA Vase match, away at London Tigers.

£20,066 in the bank, so steady away on the coin front.

Still unbeaten in the league with a win and a draw but gutted to be beaten in the cup.

The month started off with a 2-2 draw at home to Huntington Rovers, Joe Halsall and Ryan Whitehurst the goalscorers with Josh Grant and Alex Fanning the assists.

Copmanthorpe were next, and beaten 1-0, Alfie Carter scored the goal after work from Danny Hirst. Danny Hirst, Ashley Woolliscroft, Chris Price and Daniel Pollitt picked up yellow cards, Alfie Carter was man of the match.

London Tigers
knocked us out of the cup 2-1, Alfie Carter scored the goal and picked up the man of the match award, John Pritchard set the goal up.

Money was lost and in the kitty sat £19,680.

Plenty of players came and went, with the focus being on players good enough for this level and not get too big for their boots. 10 in and 13 out so far since the start of the season.

3 games, 2 home games against clubs at the bottom of the table and 2 defeats!!! The team have a serious issue with clubs at the wrong end of the league.

First game of last month was a 1-0 defeat at home to Wiltshire Caine Town, Jimmy Turner, Jason Field and Daniel Pollitt all got booked.

Next up was a 2-0 away win at Southbrook, Joe Halsall and Scott Ruthven scored the goals. Ashley Woolliscroft picked up the man of the match award whilst setting up both goals.

Finally a 4-1 defeat at home to FC Chippenham Youth, even the goal was an own goal.

Still in 2nd place and just 1 point behind top spot.

£19,618 in the bank,.

3 games this month to get through, hopefully the players will buck their ides up and get a couple of wins on the board.
