Slaven Bilic has been appointed as the new manager of West Ham on a three-year contract to replace Sam Allardyce.

The 46-year-old Croat, who becomes the 15th full-time manager in the club's 120-year history, joins the Hammers having left his previous job as head coach of Besiktas at the end of the season.

And later on Tuesday the Hammers announced that they would confirm their first summer signing "in the next 24 hours."

Manuel Lanzini sign at Boleyn Ground

At Besiktas he was not granted beside Bilic, but now they are aloud working together. The young argentinian Playmaker Manuel Lanzini be a Hammer until 2018. Manuel was the next Key signing after Kouyate and Payet and be a hopeful player for the future. We ask the new head coach Bilic about the goals for the future and where he will se West Ham in upcoming years.

"I am satisfied with the new signings and i am very confident that they lead us to glory. This year we will play in Europa League, next year maybe a level higher."

In the first knock out round the Hammers face Sant Julia from Andorra, the first facing they win 3-1 away with goals from Valencia, Noble and Zaraté, also with a send off Song who is suspended for two matchdays.

Bilic set on 4-2-3-1 with a classic playmaker behind the Target Man and beside the two wingers. At the first game this role takes argentinian Mauro Zaraté, but maybe Manuel Lanzini can take his part sooner then he (Mauro) would like.
