I have been toying around a little bit with the FM16 beta so far, but not really sinking my teeth in yet.
I thought that I would finally, after coming across to FM12 from the EA FIFA Manager series, that I would manage my beloved Everton.
Sadly though, Beta being Beta, the save file got corrupted, when I was doing so well down in 19th position after 10 games with 90% of my senior squad out injured, most of the U21's loaned out without recall as an option (damn head of youth) so using mostly U21's and U18's to field an EPL side...
I am kinda thankful that the save file won't open any more...
But this has left me now feeling a bit down about starting a new save. Do I restart with Everton and see if I can truly bring our grand old club back to being one of the powerhouses of English football? Or do I return to what I would normally do and pick a team down around the Conference / League 2 and work on them?
Last season I played a bit as Tranmere down in League 2, now they are in the Conference it could be interesting to see if I can get them rising up the leagues again, maybe even bring another Mersey derby to the EPL.
