David Moyes has been sacked of manager of Spanish club, Real Sociedad just a day short of his first year in Spain. Not really surprising when you look at how badly Sociedad have fell apart since the transfer of Antoine Griezmann to Atletico Madrid.
The board have searched far and wide in regards to finding a replacement that would be able to shape up the squad and can build for the future too! Up stepped a 21 year old manager with no previous experience in football management, by the name of Reece Holian an English Manager with broken Spanish at his disposal.
It was fair to say that the fans are not particularly amused by this as they have strongly disagreed with the deal to bring Reece in....such protests lead to FIFA close to banning the fans from any of the home games this season!
Journalists from far and wide have all joined the club for the first press conference regarding Reece's dubious appointment.
Guiliem Belague: a beloved name in Spanish football has spoken in support of Reece and has explained to the Journalists that he just needs time and Real Sociedad will see the European days that fill the dreams of every Sociedad, past and present.
Jesus: 'Hi Reece, we are told that your budget has been demoralising to work with, can you please shed some light on this?'
Reece: Of course, the budget given is of course not ideal but I will find the signings I deem fit to wear the colours of this amazing club'
Alejandro: 'We have heard rumours of a new centre back partner for key defender Inigo Martinez, can you please tell us who this is?'
Reece: you have to wait and see, if this player comes in, we are looking at potentially the best defender in his price range and his potential is undoubtedly unheard of!
Last question coming from Andres: What do you think this club can achieve with a manager so young and unexperienced in any footballing situation?
Reece: I hope to make this club, a club with a passion for winning and a way where the great people of Sociedad can tell their families in years to come the days of Sociedad rather than Barcelona and Real Madrid!
