Manchester City have continued their undefeated run so far this season with yet another impressive month of results. Firstly, Manchester City faced Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League. They came with a dominant 4-2 victory, assuring City would finish first in their group which may be of great assistance when it comes to the knockout stages of the competition.

Next up, Manchester City won two league fixtures with a 4-0 win over Everton with David Silva scoring twice and a 3-1 win over Newcastle. Playing a weaker side with their place in the knockout stages secure, Manchester City defeated Sporting CP 2-0 in a dominant display, goals from Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri ensuring that Sporting CP would not progress to the next stage of the competition.

In the final fixture of the month, Chelsea and Manchester City faced each other and it was Raheem Sterling who opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a placed shot. In the 23rd minute, Eden Hazard put away a penalty after a foul in the box from Nicolas Otamendi to see the match tied up at one goal each. The second half saw both sides create chances, but with either team unable to convert both sides took away a point from the match.

After yet another fantastic month, Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini was awarded the Manager of the Month for November, his second Manager of the Month award in as many months.

Often overlooked, David Silva has won the Player of the Month award for November after continuing to impress as the centre of the Manchester City attack.

The Spaniard has scored three goals in four games as well as an assist this month, he has also strung together plenty of key passes in those games which has allowed the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling provide assists from out wide.

David Silva is currently in his sixth season at Manchester City and has recently re-signed with the club for a further four years.

Manchester City find themselves on the top of the table and still undefeated, sitting ahead of second placed Leicester City by nine points. Outside of the league leaders, the rest of the teams remain quite grouped as we get closer to the halfway point of the season.

Liverpool have managed to climb out of the relegation zone, starting on the back of an amazing 7-1 victory over Manchester United. Everton sacked Roberto Martinez and hired old manager David Moyes who has turned the clubs form around to see them exist the relegation zone also.

Manchester City remain perfect in the UEFA Champions League after winning all five matches so far, guaranteeing that they finish first in Group H.

They will play FC Red Bull Salzburg in their final match of the group stage before moving onto the knockout stages. The draw for the round of 16 will take place on the 14th of December.

No Capital One Cup fixtures were played during November, Manchester City’s fixture against the Wolverhampton Wolves is scheduled for the 1st of December 2015.

Injury Report

Bacary Sagna

After being out for around two months, Bacary Sagna is expected to return from his hip injury in the next few days.

A busy month is expected for Manchester City with the club playing in eight fixtures during the month of December. They start off in a Capital One Cup quarter final against Wolverhampton Wolves.

Manchester City only have one major fixture in the English Premier League against second placed Leicester City, they also face Crystal Palace twice in the league during the month. It will still be very important to pick up as many points as possible to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

In the UEFA Champions League, Manchester City face FC Red Bull Salzburg in the final round of the group stage with Manchester City expected to field a relatively weakened side with City guaranteed to finish first in their group.
Just another day at the office ;) Great work :)

It's rather worrying how well you're doing, keep it up!

A great undefeated month mate and a ways on the top of the ladder. Next month will be tough though with all the fixtures but you have the squad for it.

Manchester City finally lost their first game of the season but despite the upset they managed to put together another impressive month of results. Across eight fixtures they only conceded two goals and managed to score sixteen of their own.

After three victories to begin the month, Manchester City faced Swansea and despite dominating the game they failed to convert their chances and in the end a goal from Andre Ayew saw their undefeated streak come to a close. Manchester City responded with four dominant victories to see out the year, including two wins over Crystal Palace in two weeks.

Fan favourite Pablo Zabaleta has won the Player of the Month award for December on the back of some terrific defensive displays, missing only one tackle and intervening with numerous interceptions.

After recently agreeing to a new deal with the club which runs until 2019, many Manchester City fans hope to see Zabaleta at the club until the end of his career.

Manchester City sit in first place with an eight-point lead over second placed Tottenham with many of the big clubs following closely behind with all of them hitting form in December.

The middle of the table is very tight at the halfway point of the season with any team which finds form in with a great opportunity of making its way up the ladder. The relegation battle is also starting to heat up with a lot of sides not far apart with even relegation favourites Bournemouth only seven points from safety.

After going through the group stage winning every game, Manchester City have drawn Atletico Madrid in the first knockout round. Atletico currently sit in 1st in the La Liga and qualified comfortably in the group stage alongside Juventus in Group D.

In the opening round of the FA Cup for Manchester City they face Crystal Palace. The two sides have placed twice already in the Premier League this season with Manchester City winning on both occasions.

After progressing with a victory over Wolverhampton Wolves, Manchester City face Derby County across two legs to see who progresses to the final of the Capital One Cup. Derby County have defeated three Premier League sides in a row in the Capital One Cup with victories over Norwich, Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

Manchester City have had a very fortunate run in the Capital One Cup as they have yet to face a side from the top division.

Injury Report

Patrick Roberts

Once again Patrick Roberts has been dealt a cruel injury blow, this time with a hamstring injury which will see him out for two weeks. His continual injury issues have hampered his development although he still shows good potential.

Manchester City face a very interesting month with a lot of big fixtures across January. After a fixture against West Bromwich Albion, City face Derby County in the first leg of the Capital One Cup Semi-Final.

Following the semi-final, Manchester City face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup, the third fixture between the sides in as many weeks after facing them twice in the Premier League. After the FA Cup tie the Premier League heats up as Manchester City face Arsenal and Liverpool in consecutive weeks.

To close out January, Manchester City play the second leg of their Capital One Cup Semi-Final against Derby County.
Absolute domination.
Atlético is a big challenge in the CL, and they're in first ... dangerous.
Great work, keep it going :)

A dominant month bud only conceding in the 2 games. Atletico will be a tough ask but you should breeze past them.

Good luck.

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/093f91e7-80e0-4440-83c0-12630526fbdc_zpsw2adyam4.jpg.html
After a terrific year, Raheem Sterling has proven himself a world class player

• Raheem Sterling is in his first season at Manchester City
• Sterling won the Golden Boy award previously in 2014 while playing for Liverpool
• He is the first Englishman picked in the World Team of the Year since Ashley Cole in 2010

After a controversial move from Liverpool to Manchester City, Raheem Sterling has proven himself a world class player by making the World Team of the Year and winning the Golden Boy award last night. In 24 appearances so far this season, Sterling has scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists and is showing exactly why Manchester City spent so much money to bring him to the club.

Sterling is one of three players named in the World Team of the Year from the Premier League this season alongside Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen and is the only English player included. He also won the Golden Boy award for the second year in a row, the first player ever to win the award twice since it was introduced in 2003.

"I am very excited and honoured to be named in the World Team of the Year as well as winning the Golden Boy once again. It has all taken me by surprise to be honest.” said Sterling. “I would personally like to thank the Manchester City fans who have made me feel very welcomed. They have certainly allowed me to feel comfortable in my new surroundings and this has helped me have the success I have had this season.” he added.

In other award news regarding Manchester City players, Yaya Toure has won the African Footballer of the Year for the fifth year in a row as well as making the African Team of the Year. Also, Samir Nasri finished third in running for French Player of the Year.

Capital One Cup Semi-Final (First Leg)

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/EPL__g755596_5mins__875368a_zpsouqraueo.jpg.html
Wilfried Bony put in a great performance in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg

Manchester City 3 - 3 Derby County

A full house at Pride Park witnessed Derby County put in an impressive effort against Premier League leaders Manchester City in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final. Defending was put to one side as both sides played in a very attacking manner and despite a hat trick from Wilfried Bony for Manchester City the game ended in a 3-3 draw.

Manchester City opened the scoring in the 8th minute when Wilfried Bony headed home a cross from Bacary Sagna. Derby County replied quickly with Jamaican Simon Dawkins getting onto the end of a through ball from Tom Ince and stroking the ball past Joe Hart. City enjoyed a great amount of possession but were unable to convert their chances until Bony scored a second goal. Former Aston Villa striker Andi Weimann levelled the score just two minutes later with a placed shot just before half time.

Straight after the break, Dawkins scored his second goal after a mistake from Martin Demichelis left him unmarked one on one with Hart. Bony completed his hat trick with a tap in goal after a save from Derby keeper Lee Grant in the 60th minute. The game got heated toward the end of the second half with both sides receiving multiple yellow cards but neither side was capable of securing the victory.

Heading into the second leg, Derby County will be full of confidence but Manchester City are still heavy favourites. The second leg is set to take place at the City of Manchester Stadium on the 26th of January.
You're running away with the league mate wow. Unlucky against Derby but back at the Etihad you'll have no problems, good luck :)

But you're doing amazing this season. And nice to see Sterling getting a Team of the Year award and Golden Boy, good news for City.

City Spend Big On Pogba

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/c0b1de82-2772-4406-8fde-60da8b8415a0_zpsvqkpcydj.jpg.html
Paul Pogba will add even more class to an already terrific Manchester City line-up

• Paul Pogba comes to City as the most expensive transfer in history
• Pogba has represented the French national side on 29 occasions
• The French midfielder is expected to make his debut just three days after signing for the club

Manchester City have completed the transfer of Paul Pogba from Juventus for £88 million, a new record for the most expensive transfer in football history. The transfer will see Juventus paid £60 million up front with the remaining £28 million to be paid over the next four years. The contact signed by Pogba sees him earn £175,000 per week until 2020.

“This is a fantastic signing for Manchester City and I am very pleased Paul has joined the club, he is a very good player.” Said Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini. “Everybody knows Paul is a player that we have admitted for a long time and we would like to welcome him to Manchester City” he added.

“I am pleased to have signed for Manchester City, I love Manchester very much.” said Pogba. “After how my time at Manchester United ended, I will have no trouble fitting in at Manchester City and sharing the fans passion.” he added.

Pogba left Manchester United on a free transfer for Juventus where he has won the Serie A three times as well as finishing runner up in the UEFA Champions League final in the 2014-15 season.

As he has played for Juventus in the Champions League this season already, Pogba will not be eligible to play in the competition this season for Manchester City. He is expected to train with the squad before making his debut in Manchester City’s upcoming FA Cup 3rd Round fixture against Crystal Palace.
