Does anyone else think that Jozy Altidore can still reach his potential? I heard about him a few years ago, I can't remember why, think I found him on FM or my friend did. I might be being incredibly biased here (and am) but I would love to see him in a Celtic shirt, I think if he was to start again with a lower rep club, I think Villareal was a bad choice, such as Celtic, Hull, Wigan etc he could become unreal, he just needs to be given regular starts. I read his twitter and he seems like a genuine guy as well, would hate to see him drift of into obscurity. I think it's hard for players in America, the Amercan system is fantastic for generating youth but the MLS is just of to poor a quality, and they get this amazing rep and are bought by the big clubs, Villareal, Benfica and they never get the chance because they have been thrown into a league 10 times better than the MLS with fans and pundits expecting them to shine and they can't. I think that Altidore and Adu should have joined clubs like Wigan, Celtic and Hull, made a name at that level and then went to the big clubs. I mean look at Dempsey and McBride, they might not got the move to the big clubs but they made a name for themselves at Fulham.

What I am basically saying is I want Altidore at Celtic. Anyone have Mowbray's e-mail?
Altidore is in fact on loan at Hull City.
Yeh, thanks, I know. Do you know what a permanent deal is? Because he's just going to go back to Villareal and sit in the reserves
I did mention the word "loan", hence I understand what a permanent deal is. My money is that he'll just be loaned out again next season.
Shame to just keep loaning him out, he needs to move on and find a team were he can push for first team and show what he can do.

He had a great Confed. Cup tournament, showed that he definately isnt the finished article and has a lot of developing to do, but great potential.

Low league prem or a championship yo-yo team would be perfect.
