Certainly an interesting situation, I really hope you are able to get off to a good start of you may be in some trouble.

Welcome Piatti!

Today we are proud to announce the incoming transfer of Pablo Piatti from fellow Spanish side Valencia CF for a fee of £7m. Piatti, 25, has spent the majority of his career in Spain when joining Almeria in the 08/09 season and has been a regular since. We know that Piatti brings our side new found pace and will be a formidable winger to challenge Konoplyanka or Vitlolo for a place in the starting place.

Piatti has had this to say " I am thankful for my time at Valencia and I am sad at how things ended. I want to thank all of the fans for treating me so well but i look forward to new times ahead at Sevilla a club with a brilliant manager and a eye for European Success!"

Champions League Best Placed Play-Off Draw

Today Marks the start of what of many believe to be the start of the champions league as we get down to the last draw before the group stages. Today we will find out which teams will play each other who have finished in a non champion place in their domestic league. Often a very competitive draw it is not for the weak as some of the worlds best teams progress to the group stages through this avenue of qualification. Some of the teams to highlight in this year's draw are Manchester United back in the competition after a 4th place finish last season, Joining them are Ajax a team with great European prowess boasting one of the most littered European trophy cabinets! So who ever is drawn against each other we know it will be an enticing affair!

The Draw

EDIT : Sorry its so small will try and fix for next time, For anyone who cannot see, the draw was as follows:
Leverkusen vs CSKA Moscow
Sporting vs Ajax
Monaco vs Valencia
Lazio vs Man U
Shakthar vs Fenerbahce

Hamilton's Perspective

A tough draw away to Monaco in the first leg but i am happy to be coming back to Valencia with our fans behind us for the crucial deciding second leg. Monaco are a team which despite on paper not harnessing a world class team were still able to reach the quarter finals last season which is extremely impressive. I feel we may have the upper hand in quality of players but we all know how football works and if they are up for it on the night then anything can happen!
Drawing Monaco could be a blessing in disguise. Beating them would certainly inspire your players to perform at even higher level!
Monaco aren't as good as they were a few year ago, having lost a few players so hopefully you can beat them.
Nice start to this man, hopefully you can keep hold of Piatti and get past Monaco too!
Justice : Yeah it will be a great victory and hopefully you are right!!

Scott : Yeah i agree definetly

Griff : Silly you hes already gone!!! read above the CL draw
Haha my bad man that serves me right for not checking previous updates :P
Good start, and praying you can get past Monaco as it's certainly more than achievable!
I hope you tear them a new ... haha

Hamilton's Thoughts

Well Wow, what a tie, what a great spectacle for the neutral fan. I was pleased after the first leg to come back to Spain with the away goal i was confident after seeing the teams performance in the match that we could get a win. After scoring in the second minute i thought this may be a walk in the park, How wrong was I!? The late equalizer by the veteran Vagner Love was tough blow and at this point i feared the worst. Once Bernardo Silva scored the screamer from 35 yards i thought it was over, i had to throw the sink at them, I put on young Mina for fresh legs right after the goal and oh my, it was instant impact, straight from kickoff we reply with a goal, I am buzzing at this point. Then the rollercoaster goes again, Aymen decides to get sent off, it was a rash challenge but it the scheme of things it was wise as they were breaking and it looked dangerous. With a man sent off i went ultra defensive to try make it too penalties but amazingly from a Monaco corner we managed to find Alvaro Negredo to counter attack with, he switched it to Mina and it was a simple slide past the Goalie. I have never been so proud of my team, This win has boosted morale to new levels, we can beat anyone if we continue to play with the spirit the boys played with tonight. Group stages HERE WE COME!!

VALENCIA PART WAYS WITH HAMILTON

Valencia today have shocked the world footballing community by parting company with their recently appointed manager days after qualifying for the champions league. The dispute seems to have came from a meeting between Hamilton and the Chairman of the club, sources have told BBC sport that their was a strong difference in opinions between the Scot and his boss. Hamilton has spoke on social media of his regret of what has happened, but has said he stands by the way he has portrayed himself regarding the matter at hand and feels he is in the right. "It is a real shame that i cannot continue what i feel was a brilliant start to life at Valencia, It was established in a recent meeting with the chairman that there was a severe conflict in our ways of thinking. I am a man of strong beliefs and will not allow myself to be bullied into scenarios that ultimately cannot be beneficial to my career. I am bound by legal documents to not disclose any of the reasons for my departure, The last thing i would like to say is thank you to the Valencia fans for my great welcome and support."

Sources from within the club were able to tell us that the dispute came over money being spent on youth development and financing new coaching and scouting, We believe these were areas Hamilton was promised would be changed under his management but the situation has evidently changed somewhere along the line. What is next for Valencia and Hamilton only time will tell.

NOTE:- Legitimately this was not planned i went to the board, disagreed with the chairman then clicked on the whole dont think i can carry on malark by accident then bam, "I think its best we part ways like wat da fuk!!!
