Whenever i start a new game i almost always have a routine.

Set up training schedules, scouting assignments, setting bookmarks in continents like South America and Europe, editing Tottenham's finances with FMM to make them the poorest team in professional football, offering some new contracts to players with not long left on theirs, etc.

What about you guys?

why did u modify totenham's finance?and become the poorest??
doesn't make sense 2 me.:p:p

he is an arsenal fan i spose.

and i usually start a game, see everything about the team and such(if i dont know already)

and then i directly look for people with their contract expiring and free players, just to be the first to sign them and i dont face any competition for signing him.

when thats done i save the game, after i have signed a few players which i think i always do if not playing with a team i know much about. then i fix my training and fix the coaches and maybe a new assistant manager etc etc.

i sell players loan and all that shit.

then i close the game, delete the saved game...and start another one :p nah just messing

i spend usually around 2 days when i first start the game before i press continue. Just messing around with my team, so i dont have to worry about it through the season.

Training first. then transfer list players, offer them to clubs. sort out my tactics, realise where am no good and then offer bids for players... doesn't seem much but to do it properly takes aaaages :wink

I start with looking at my team, setting reserves to first team again (donno why but sometimes stars are in the reserve and listed :S) and transfer list allot of them.

Then i set up training and the coaches.

Tactics usually i try and build from3 tactics i used mainly with the last 5 FM/CM games. 4-2-3-1 4-3-1-2 or 4-4-2.

Upload my shortlists, setup scouting. make bids on my favorite players if i need them. Set up 15-20 friendlies (3 in 3 days and then 2 or 3 days rest and then again) if time period allows it. Set up manager options.

Save my game and then i continue. After that i use FMM or genie (if it works :P) to look at my own team and look for more players on my gigantic shortlists if needed.

From there on i continue.
well, it is not some big deal.
sign some coaches, make some tactics and trainings.
scouting players for a coulpe of weeks and sign the ones i need.
but the real thing happens at the start of the second season when i know what is not good in my team.

I do all the usual setting up in minimum game time possible and save out as "Spurs-setup" "wigan-setup" or whatever team it is, then if\when I start a new game I just reload it so I don't have to do all that tedious stuff again.
