Will a database to start the 2016-17 season in FM16 be made once the play-offs etc are concluded? Any information anyone has would be great to know.

I don't think there will be. But you would never know with these people.

they also have a new file where you can start game june 2016 with all real results etc
personally I would suggest changing date (you can do this with the file) to late may so you get all results up to play off then use fmrte to manipulate play offs
then you have all promotions relegations as real life
you could always use fmrte to change league tables as long as you did it befoer last round of games
