PSV: Dutch Dominance
PSV are a club that need no introduction. They are one of the most successful teams in Dutch footballing history. It's time for them to kick on and take Europe by storm.
I'll be posting monthly updates as well as transfers in and out, key staffing changes, and key moments from the season.
My aims:
- Win the Eredivisie as many times as I can.
- To win the European Champions League within 4 seasons.
- To win back to back European Champions League within 7 seasons.
- To have a strong Dutch contingent in the squad at all times.
- To take over the Dutch national team as soon as possible.
- To win the World Cup with the Dutch national team.
So, with that in mind, let's go...
PSV: Dutch Dominance
Key Players
Hector Moreno
Hector Moreno is a big commanding centre back with years of experience under his belt. He has strong heading and marking ability which makes him a strong candidate to be the leader at the back. He can also pose a threat from set pieces and I'll be looking to exploit this throughout the season.
Marco Van Ginkel
Marco Van Ginkel is on loan from Chelsea and depending how he performs, I'll look to bring him in on a permanent basis. HIs first touch and creativity are ideal from to be a creative centre midfield player who will look to get as many assists as he can. I hope he can pitch in with a few goals as well but mainly to set up the forward players.
Luuk De Jong
Luuk De Jong is a name most people will have heard of. He spent a year at Newcastle in the Premier League but didn't really hit it off. At the age of 24 he has the potential to improve and improve in the forthcoming years. I'll be looking at him to lead the line and lead the scoring charts as well.
PSV should be a good side, lets hope you can continue to topple Ajax!

A poor game in truth and a poor performance against a team we really should have beaten in normal time. A great goal from Andrés Guardardo in the 53rd minute gave me the lead. A lead that didn't last long however as 1 minute later Groningen scored their equaliser. Disappointed to be taken to extra time and to not find a winner as during the last 15 minutes we were definitely the only team that would have scored.
Onto penalties it went, and we were the first to miss. A missed penalty from Adam Maher turned Groningen favourites but as we scored the next 2 penalties, the pressure mounted. Up stepped De Leeuew, but superman Jeroen Zoet to save the spot kick. A fantastic placed penalty from Hendrix gave us the chance to lift the cup. Zoe was the man again and saved the penalty and celebrations started.
ONE TROPHY IN THE BAG.
