Arango on joining Miami FC #WelcomeArango!

'It's a great honor for me to come play here under my idol, David Beckham. I wish to be like him and hope he will help me grow as a footballer. I'm looking forward to joining up with this team and what the future brings.'

Not much is known about Eddie Howe's transfer policy, will he be focusing on youth, or going for experience, or a blend? Who knows? With Arango signing, Howe said 'I want to continue signing players, Paolo has thrown money as this club, he wants to be successful, and I'm looking at some high profile targets to match his ambition.'

Who is Howe planning on bring in? All we know is this is an exciting time for the people of Miami!
Good acquisition there mate, hopefully he is the first of many!
Interesting buy, keep it up mate

Rumours of Football Legend Joining Miami FC

'He is not yet confirmed but we are working as hard as we can to get this deal done. There's still a lot to push through to complete this deal, but at the moment it does look like he will be a Miami player come the start of the season'

Who is the former Legend close to signing for Miami FC? More to come on this story.

Italian Legend Matteo Ferrari signs #WelcomeFerrari!

Paolo on the signing of Ferrari 'Matteo is a guy who I have a lot of respect for and didn't get the credit he deserved. Matteo deserved to play for Italy way more than 11 times during his career, but the strength of Italy's defense in those days was incredible. I'm delighted he's joined our club, he's a personal friend of mine despite playing for Inter and I look forward to seeing how he works with the youngsters as well and helps them grow as footballers.'

So who is Matteo Ferrari?

Ferrari is an Italian defender who was often overlooked by Italy's national team due to their strength in defense at that time, including the likes of Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Nesta.

His most successful days were at Parma FC where he played a key part in Parma winning the Copa Italia among other trophies. He was part of a strong Parma side that included the likes of Gianluigi Buffon and Hernan Crespo.

However, he his a bit of a rough spot when he joined Roma and sadly never picked up form again causing him to move from club to club. But we have every faith in him to pick him form back up in Miami. #WelcomeFerrari!

Miami complete 3 loan signings!

'We would formally like to welcome Angelino, Ryan Seager and Jack Dunn to the city of Miami and to the club. These 3 youngsters had always been on my radar at Bournemouth and they are 3 youngsters I'm very fond of. With these signings I don't expect you will see much else from the club transfer-wise. I'm now at a point where I am happy with the squad i have got and I can't wait for the season to get under way, hopefully we will have a successful pre season as well.'

Pre Season

'I think we had a fantastic pre season, we made some tactical changes after the 4-1 loss to Houston Dyanmo and it completely transformed the way our squad played. Beating teams such as New York City and Portland Timbers, who are top MLS teams fills me with confidence about our inaugural season.I look forward to my first game in charge against Rayo Oklahoma City and I know we will be ready to face them when the time comes. When this squad gels together I have no doubt we will be a dominate force in this years NASL and could be a force to be reckoned with in the US Open Cup.'

#MiamiFC vs #RayoOKC

Our first ever game wasn't a massive success, however a 1-1 draw is a very respectable result against a strong Rayo Oklahoma City side.

Jack Dunn opened the scoring for us in the 37th minute, with Miami's first ever goal in competitive football and it was a goal to remember too, a 20 yard screamer from the corner of the box. However it wasn't a game for Borrajo as he was sent off in the 80th minute which allowed Rayo OKC to score from the resulting freekick. This means our first game was not the dream start to the Miami era, but I remain confident that we can be successful team in the future.

First Months Results

After a poor game against Rayo OKC, Eddie decided to change it up tactically and it worked marvelously, with Miami smashing 6 goals in the next 2 games against Tampa Bay Rowdies and Ottawa Fury. These results currently leave us in 1st place in the NASL, but there's still a long way to go and anything can happen

'I think we've been very successful in our first competitive month. Things have been majorly positive and can only get better as time goes on. I hope Paolo and David are as happy as me with our first month in competitive football and hope to work with me for as long as possible as I'm loving my time here in Miami.'

Star Player
Diego Cvitanich

Appearances - 3
Goals - 5
Average Rating - 8.3

Cvitanich has been in outstanding form for us in March and I can't wait to see what else he produces over the rest of the season.
Some good results in there pal, keep it going!
Very simple yet effective update style, I like it!
