Hello everyone I'm back with a new story, and with the Rio Olympics coming up soon, where's a better place to start a story than Brazil.
Now for this story I will be trying to replicate the Os Santásticos (If you don't know who they, look them up) often considered one of the best teams made up in any sport. Over their 10 year period, the club scored over 3000 goals and won 24 trophies, which is an amazing feat which I don't think will ever be broken. This feat made Santos a Worldwide known club, which in itself was an achievement in the 60's. They also broke numerous other records including winning the first ever treble and the first ever quadruple. They were a force to be reckoned with in world football.
Of course they were helped by the likes of Pele, Gilmar, Pepe and Coutinho but none the less they were an outstanding team who even the European teams could not beat at the time.
I'm going to try and replicate this success, which will be tough because Brazilian football and Santos are not as big as they used to be, with many Brazilian players wanting to go play in Europe when they reach the age of 22/23. So first I will have to get the Brazilian league to a standard where it can compete with Europe and then from there I can really kick on.
