Whatsup this is a team guide for FC Barcelona.
Expectations:
It’s simple, you need to win everything that the Chairman wants you to win. In La Liga you need to come first, with the great squad you have it shouldn't be too hard, but with the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, with a slow start you could be in trouble and get the sack. Champions League you are expected to get to the final be you should easily be contenders. The other two cups the board don't care about so focus your attention on the two main competitions and give youngsters a chance in the cups.
The Team
Goalkeeper:
With the nice and experienced Claudio Bravo, you also have the option of going with the young and more potentially gifted Ter-Stegen. I would say Bravo is better for the crucial matches, but give Ter-Stegen the game time in cups and matches you are expected to win.
GK: Claudio Bravo
Defenders:
Also in great shape with some youth, you have Jordi Alba, Pique, Mascherano and the departing Dani Alves. Luckily, has not left yet on FM so you can still use him. For backups you need to strengthen with Adriano and Douglas the full back options. Both are old and not great. The centre backs are fine though with Vermalen, Bartra and Mathieu as great backups for the reliable two.
RCB: Pique
LCB: Mascherano
Midfielders:
Iniesta. Sums it up. This guy is a magician in the middle and is best played as an advanced playmaker who will play the key passes and hold on to the ball. Its best with a defensive midfielder Busquets who’s the most solid player in the team. As well as Rakitic, it’s a great team with Rafinha and Sergi Roberto on the bench. Recommend one more midfilder.
Attack:
MSN!!! Messi, Suarez and Neymar is the best attack in world football who should be feared. You have youngsters Munir and Sandro to back up but might want stronger backups until Turan and Vidal return.
LW: Neymar
ST: Suarez
RW: Messi (Plz come back to Argentina but understand why you had to retire.)
Who to Build the Team Around:
MESSI:
The best. All that needs to be said.
INIESTA:
The second best (in my opinion). All that needs to be said.
SUAREZ:
Picked him over Neymar because of his insane form and amazing player stats on FM. Neymar is for the future but this guy is a tank. Guarantees goals.
Who to Buy:
JONNY:
Great cover in both right back and left back areas, he is also young. Nice player to bring in and will help out a lot.
DENIS SUAREZ:
Should have a buy back clause, awesome player to have. Can play in the centre and also on the wing.
RUBEN NEVES:
Best potential CDM who can also play in CM. Very similar to Busquets because he is such a solid rock. Grows into a fantastic player. One to watch and to play in Cup games.
Who to Sell:
VERMALEN:
Old, doesn’t start, crap player. Can get some money for him which will be useful so definitely sell him.
ADRIANO:
He’s old and useless as well so you should bring in Jonny to replace him. Pace matters slightly so a player like Adriano is a liability.
That sums up FC Barcelona. I’m going to do another one soon, most likely on FC Bayern Munich. If you liked this please check out the video, link at the top, or search up One Man Wall. I’m not just doing this to get views on my channel, I’ve been a big fan of FM Scout and if you don’t want to read all this, or want another perspective, look at the video. One Man wall signing off, peace.
