RANGERS can today confirm that Jordan Rossiter has signed an agreement with the club to join the Light Blues in the summer.

England youth international Rossiter will join Mark Warburton’s side from Liverpool on a four year deal until 2020.

The highly regarded midfielder has been courted by a number of top clubs before electing to join the Gers after being sold on the club by head of recruitment Frank McParland and the Rangers management team.

Rossiter made five first team appearances for his boyhood club after captaining and graduating from the Liverpool academy, including featuring against Sion in the Europa League, Jurgen Klopp’s first game in charge of the Merseyside club.

Speaking to the club today, Gers boss Warburton spoke highly of his third recruit for season 2016/17 following the captures of Matt Crooks and Josh Windass.

He said: “Jordan is an outstanding young England youth international who will be an excellent addition to the Rangers squad.

Liverpool fans are reportedly disappointed that the club have allowed a player that many considered could be the next Steven Gerrard to leave the club, especially for pennies. One stated on twitter: "I hope selling Rossiter doesn't come back and bite us in the future"
Hopefully it doesn't prove to be a loss for you! Enjoying the updates :)
It is very strange for him to leave when Liverpool fans were so high on him..
24-year old Southampton winger Saido Mane has today been confirmed as a Liverpool player - the Reds’ third most expensive signing of all-time, behind Christian Benteke and Andy Carroll. Some reports have suggested the eventual fee could eclipse the £35 million spent on Carroll.

Mane arrives just in time to join up with his new team mates when they return for pre-season training on Saturday, with Jurgen Klopp keen to have as many of his players available for the full pre-season.

He’ll join fellow new signings Loris Karius, Joel Matip and Marko Grujic at Melwood, and is expected to feature heavily in pre-season. Mane arrives to fill the void in Klopp’s squad for a pacy wide player who can contribute goals. He scored 15 and assisted nine last season, and 13 goals and nine assists again the season before.

His 21 Premier League goals in his two seasons at Southampton is more than any other Liverpool player during that time – with Philippe Coutinho with 13 the Reds’ best in that time.

It is so far unclear whether Klopp will look to sell some of his attacking midfield, as that area of the squad now seems somewhat saturated - Adam Lallana in particular may be at risk of losing his first-team place, although performances in pre-season will likely impact Klopp's decision.
Liverpool should just commit and purchase Southampton..

winger Jordon Ibe has completed a £15 million move to Bournemouth.

Ibe has been in negotiations with Eddie Howe for over a week, and tonight there was confirmation of the 20-year-old’s departure from Merseyside.

Howe’s powers of negotiation have proved crucial in convincing Ibe he can progress his career on the south coast having been told his chances would limited at Anfield in the forthcoming season. The winger was initially unsure whether to leave Liverpool so soon into his career, but the chance to work under Howe has been decisive.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp decided the offer from Bournemouth was too good to turn down, although a buy-back and sell-on clause was inserted as part of the deal should Ibe go on to fulfill his potential.

Ibe started last season in Liverpool’s first team and was given numerous opportunities to cement his position when Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers, but his form dipped alarmingly.

Liverpool signed Ibe from Wycombe in 2012, and they will have to pay his former club 15 per cent of the fee they are now receiving.

Bournemouth will feel they have lured one of England’s brightest young talents. A year ago Ibe was being tipped as the natural replacement for Raheem Sterling – a winger who at his best offers pace, dribbling ability and a ferocious shot.

But with Liverpool out of Europe, his chances of first team action was sure to be limited in the year ahead.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum from recently relegated Newcastle United.

The Reds saw their £25 million bid for the Magpies star accepted in the early hours of Thursday morning, before the 25-year-old passed a medical on Friday ahead of his move.

Wijnaldum joins on a long-term contract, and will travel immediately to link up with Jurgen Klopp‘s squad for Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the US.

Reports suggest the fee is an initial £23 million with a potential £2 million more in add-ons, and the player will be on £75,000 per week.

Wijnaldum will wear shirt number 5, not 8 as had been rumoured.

Joining Newcastle from PSV Eindhoven last summer in a deal worth £14.5 million, Wijnaldum scored 11 goals in 38 Premier League games.

A powerful, intelligent midfielder capable of operating in a number of roles, the Netherlands international will add to Klopp’s options across the middle of the park.

Wijnaldum could make his debut for the club against Chelsea in the International Champions Cup on July 27, with further friendlies to come against AC Milan, AS Roma, Barcelona and Mainz 05.

He joins Joel Matip, Loris Karius, Sadio Mane, Alex Manninger and Ragnar Klavan through the Shankly Gates this summer—along with Marko Grujic, who arrives after spending 2015/16 on loan with Red Star Belgrade.
A signing not from Southampton?!?! THE END IS NEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting to see how these signings do for you and in real life
A resurgence is needed to revive Liverpool, and the new signings will hopefully provide it! What brand of football can we expect to see at Anfield under Klopp this season.... the typified high-pressing approach of his Dortmund days, or a new style of play?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has today met the assembled media to confirm the signing of Swiss star Ricardo Rodriguez, having switched his attention from Koln left-back Jonas Hector. Rodriguez arrives with a stellar reputation; already regarded as one of the best left-backs in the world.

Composed with the ball at his feet, and strong in the tackle, Rodriguez is a technically gifted player who also gives as good as he gets in defence. He has contributed 13 goals in 125 appearances for Wolfsburg, and has given a good account of himself in his 41 international appearances for Switzerland.

His arrival has set tongues wagging about Alberto Moreno's future at the club, but boss Jurgen Klopp was hesitant to comment, stating only that "the best players in training will be the ones on the pitch", suggesting that the Spaniard at least has a chance to prove himself this season.

Ghoulam is joined by Scottish youngster Andrew Robertson - also a left-back - who joins from Hull for £11m, split over a 3 year term. The Scot made 24 appearances last season following a £2.9m move from Dundee United, and clearly impressed Klopp, who's fondness for the youngster may see Alberto Moreno move on to pastures new, as both first-team and backup positions appear to be filled.

Robertson has impressed pundits since he was just starting out in football, with his breakthrough season at Dundee United seeing him score 3 goals in 36 appearances, as well as win the Ladbrokes Premiership Young Player of the Year, and also make his Scotland Debut against Poland, and score his first Scotland goal against England.

Since moving to Hull, Robertson has drawn praise for his vision and ability to pick out a game-changing pass, as well as his willingness to give everything for the shirt, and fly into 50/50 challenges most players would shy away from.
Two superb signings, can't wait to see what kind of impact they have in the upcoming season!
Agreed with Justice, two great signings and it will be interesting to see what improvement they can make to the side
Really like Robertson and he can't be worse than Moreno, do Hull have enough players to field a team still though?
Lovely stuff :) loving it, even if it is Liverpool... ;)
