Newcastle have finished 8th with 55 points. All in all, a disappointing season, but it has been one of transition, and the squad is much improved now compared to the start of the season.
Perez finished as league top scorer again, with 32 goals.

The board has given me £60M transfer budget for the summer, so I'll see where I can reinforce the squad.

The Capital One Cup run was once again terrible, as we lost 1-0 at home to Wigan.

To get into the Europa League group stage, we first had to play Rangers in the 3rd qualifying round, which we won 7-1 on aggregate. Then we had to do a playoff against Qarabag, which we won 5-0 on aggregate.

Umtiti got a 4 month injury after the Napoli away win, which is a devastating blow.
