Ep2- Loan me out boss.

Aitor was fed up with the lack of game time on even the FC Barcelona B team and decided to tell his manager about it. His manager decided to let him out on loan to UD Las Palmas(A lower division team) so he could develop as a footballer. Aitor showed glimpses of greatness anytime he played for the Las Palmas team scoring 7 goals and 6 assists in 21 games.
Though he played well on loan, the manager still wasn't convinced that he could play in the Barcelona squad, he went out on loan the following year to RCD Mallorca. He had a great season in Mallorca breaking into the first team at 17 straight away. He went on to score 11 goals in the La Liga in 36 League starts.
His manager decided to keep him the next season and he signed a new 4 year contract hoping to break into the FC Barcelona first team. But he was not going to bench Luiz Suarez or Lionel Messi at 18 so he went out on loan to FC Shalke 04 and had an good season off the bench. He came off the bench on 6 times and scored 3 crucial goals in his first few games. He later played 16 games and scored 8 goals in the season averaging a goal every other game for Shalke.

Ep3- The setback

Aitor was called up for the U-21 Euros in 2027 and played immensely well scoring 3 goals in 4 apps and winning the 3rd place golden boot while carrying his team to the trophy. Aitor's season started well for FCB scoring 2 goals in the Super Copa Finals 2nd Leg. FC Barcelona bought striker Salinas in 2025 who became their first choice and made Aitor's work of breaking into the first team a whole lot harder. Aitor's season became worse when he got an injury which cost him to sit out matches for 10 months. At 19 the boy who everybody thought could be the next messi was fast becoming another next Messi flop. He went on to play only one match off the bench and scoring no goal. In 2028 he played 5 games and scored only 1 goal for FCB and got loaned to AS Monaco. At Monaco, he didn't have the best season scoring 1 goal in 16 appearances which most were off the bench. Regardless of his bad club season he still had a good season for the Spanish U-21 team. In that season he was given the captains armband for the U-21 team.

Ep4- The breakout season

After coming back from loan at Monaco, The 21 year old Aitor Gines not only was fully fit physically but was also fit mentally. Salinas was still the first choir striker at this point, he loved his relationship with Salinas because they pushed each other to play better. In the Super Cup, Aitor bagged his first hat trick for FCB and was praised in the press to being the next Messi after all, he knew he would have a great season from the first match. He went on to score 19 goals in 23 starts for the club and finally breaking into the first team leaving salinas as the second striker for the team. He played one of the greatest seasons ever played by a player that young and was nominated for Spanish Young Player of the Season but lost to Mathias Lemaire, why he didn't win that award that year is still a mystery to everyone.
Ep5- RIP Uncle Rico(A new challenge)
In March 2030, Aitor made his international senior team debut failing to score but assist a nice placed goal by Toni Pons. He scored his first Spain goal later on that year against Paraguay. In June 2030, the 22 year old Spaniard lost his uncle to cancer and went through a rough month emotionally. He decided to move from Barcelona to a new challenge. FCB manager Leonid Slutskiy knew he was going to have to let go of one of his greatest talents so he would have to sell him for more than he's worth.
So many clubs brought in bids for the young star, from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich to Manchester City, but Paris Saint-German dropped in an eye-catching bid of around £78,000,000 breaking the French Club's record transfer fee. Slutskiy had no choice but to sell him to PSG. The pressure was on for the 22 year old with positive and negative comments about him in the press.
He saw things like 'Did PSG buy yet another flop?' '£78 mil wasted on a kid'. 'PSG should have bought Toni Pons instead'. The young deep lying forward was not going to let the media get to him and was determined to show the world what he was capable of.
In the press conference before his first match at Parc des Princes, he was asked a question by one of the journalists, 'Why PSG?' Aitor's reply was emotional 'My uncle always wanted to live in Paris and once they bidded for me, I knew I was coming here'

Ep6- Proving a point
Going into his first match with all the pressure in the world, Aitor Gines was sort of silent in the match until he made a beautiful run, going past 3 players in the process and setting up his team mate for a tap in. That play ignited Aitor and gave him the confidence he needed in the match. A cross came from the right winger and Aitor's head was the first to get there hitting it right past the goal keeper and into the net. Aitor couldn't believe he had just scored on his debut and went straight to the crowd shouting 'I'm not a flop!' repeatedly.
Aitor later on had one of his best years yet scoring 34 goals in 39 apps and having 16 player of the match awards. The fans loved their new man who had great passing and finishing ability. In December 2030 he was nominated for the ballon D'or but he could only come second losing to Real Madrid winger Jorge Sepulveda.
He also won the Ligue 1 best player and Ligue 1 top goal scorer in that season. The player who was considered a flop at the beginning of the season became the King of Paris that year.
