How has no one mentioned Zinedine Zidane?

If we're voting on talent Zidane, but you need a captain in this team my vote is to Roy Keane. I'd say attacking midfielder of the decade would be Zidane

Nominees: Ronaldinho, Ryan Giggs, Robert Pires, Vicente Rodriguez, Pavel Nedved, Arjen Robben.

Stam, we started in year 1. Not at the year 0. There was no year 0.

Of course there are who prefer to think there was year 0 to be easier to deal with. Since it is, visually and cultural, easier to state that when the 0 rolls in, the decade/century/millennium starts, but there are too, those who thinks, and defends it, that the first millennium had 999 years, and not 1000 years as the followed millennium, as that they can celebrate at the end of year 9 that changes. But, officially, to us who uses and depends on the Gregorian calendar, we started at year AD 1, and the first millennium ended at december 31st of 1000, and, the second millennium started at january 1st 1001.

Of course, there are discrepancies here, since this Gregorian calendar was first introduced in 1582 and adopted by the "complete" international community only around 1912 (the first empires adopted it in 1500's and 1600's). So, taking that in consideration, you can celebrate the decade turning in so many calendar systems that you should celebrate twice every year.

Oh yeah, there are some who believes that the 3rd millennium only started at September 12th 2001.

Ronaldinho is good but this one is too easy, has to be Ryan Giggs. In this decade alone(2000-2009): 6 Premier league titles, 1 FA Cup, 2 Carling Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 FIFA Club World Cup. Total: 11. He is the best :ave

My winger would be C.Ronaldo (I don't care what you say). Att Mid Zidane hands down.

For striker, why isn't Wayne Rooney on the list? cause if he's going on it that's my vote. another who should be on the list, Torres. And shouldn't David Villa be there.
