During the past few years on FM I've found a way to get around players not wanting to talk to you when a bid has been accepted. On the staff responsibilities page I simply change it so that the chairman handles new signing contract negotiations, then when the bid has been accepted I change the contract offer. The player doesn't always agree but at least you are always able to talk to him to try and agree terms. This year however, I am unable to change the initial offer from the chairman (which is always low and is turned down). Anyone else use this method and have you found your way around it this season?
