I need help!!

Hi all,

As the title says; I have been playing this game since '13 and I love it.
I love the depth of it and how you can make it personal in a way.

I never was a very talented player unfortunately, although I have quite the knowledge of football in real life. FM '16 was my best year, with Arsenal. It never felt like a challenge because of the money and youth strength there was.

This year I decided I wanted to really know the game, understand is a whole. I know there is a lot of depth and I know some things are slightly unnecessary, but I have the feeling that I miss out on so much.
That brings me to the real issue for this tread, the fact that I'm constantly losing, drawing and thus frustrated eventually. I kept trying, but I'm losing my interest slowly. Which I really really find a pity.

I started a career with parma (Italian third devision) and then Bochum (German second devision), but I'm just not winning. I do sometimes, randomly 2/3 games. But then back to losing again.

My main question is, can somebody or more members of the site help me out. Maybe I'm missing the important basics, or the even more important details. It just bothers me and it would really suck if I eventually stopped playing this game.

Long story short, it would be amazing if this tread will help me out and maybe find more joy than frustrating in this game because, however, this game is awesome.

Thanks! Did not expect such a quick comment on this tread. Neither did I expect the views. I will have a look into it and hopefully it helps, will give a new career a chance.
