Hey guys im now in the premiership with peterborough and obv with the new rules in the premiership with 25 players registered....it says i dont need to register player 21 and younger? is this correct because i have a few promising youngster aged 16-19 but it says they're unregistered? :S surely they come under the "21 and younger need not register" ?

Just a tad confussed here lol

Thanks
Lee.
Is it in the Premier League only or is it the same in other competitions like the FA Cup, Carling Cup & Champions League?
Mate you do not have to register any players who are 21 or younger on 31.08 of each year either in any UK competition or in champions league.

I play with Liverpool 3 years now and I have not yet registered shelvey and kadlec and they can play, but without number. Although that's strange, since in real life every player must have a unique number, however if there is no problem with the game, there is no problem of course with me.

Have fun and good luck to Peterborough.

For some reason his under 21 players are unregistered, bandura that is the problem although you did give a good summary of the registration rules :).

I think it has something to do with nationality but I'm not sure. I know your only allowed 3 non-eu national players to be registerd but I not sure if the same rule applies to the under-21 players. Could you post which players you have the problem with
I bought Georginio Wijnaldum, didnt register him because he was under 21, but he plays without a number, just as mentioned above.

Although this essentially isnt a problem, it annoys me that he doesnt have a number! It looks wrong! Never had a problem with any other league though. :con
it's the new rule for 2010/2011 English Premier League season in real life guys. but the rule in game is very stupid. players without number are making the boring. hope 10.3 update resolve this problem. sorry for bad english.

I wouldn't call the rule "very stupid" as it adds realism to the game. It's like with Chelsea's transfer ban. It makes the game more interesting in my opinion as it makes you think more as a manager and which players you need for each competetion. Also it encourages teams to buy young players who obviously don't need to be registered. Although I do agree that the under-21 players should be allowed to have an assigned number. But then again you can't have everything!
Thanks for the reply guys.

Just realised its allowing me to play under21's (without the assigned number as you all have pointed) was abit confussed why it said unregistered but perhaps it be fixed in next patch :yes

now to hope my youngster can develop and keep me up in the english premiership seeing as my chairman is very tight with money lol

mate the stupidness is all about players on pitch with no number.. the rule in real life will make the epl best and hardest league.. it'll good to watch those matches..
I had the same problem so thanks for asking first :D
I was with Liverpool and I have several under-21 and three of them are regular players, now I can get more players and use youngsters :D
Does any1 know how to edit the match rules for a league? In Scottish league you have to have e3 players under 21 in the match squad? This is wrong as the real rule is you must have 2 players under 21 in the match squad, this is pretty annoying coz it means I have to leave out decent players to make way for these U21's
