Ok, so I start a new save with Pisa, newly promoted to Serie B, first season goes as planned, and I finish in mid-table. I get a ton of good players for free who are supposed to be really good for a second tier team, and use almost the same tactic as the season before.
With these new players, my team plays really good football, very fun to watch, you know that great feeling you get when you see your players do exactly what you had in mind before creating the tactic... Anyway, we create a ton of chances every game, lots of shots on target, but don't score. Now the reason we aren't scoring isn't that the chances were hard to convert into a goal, we get like 4 or 5 REAL chances every game, but the problem lies in the opposition GK. I usually expect a tactic to stop working very well after some moths of using it as the AI eventually learns how to counter it, but for it to stop working because the game turns every GK I play against into a Donnarumma who's reached his maximum potential is just absurd. Now I haven't advanced that far into the second season, just 7 games played. here are the opposition's GKs ratings in these games : 8.0/7.0/7.2/7.0 (even though we won)/6.5(we scored 6 goals)/7.0/7.6 ... And when we look at my Gk, (Agazzi) who is much better than the ones we played against, his average rating is just 6.7.
Is someone else experiencing this? And what can I do to change this?
please don't bother to answer if you're going to say something about my tactics, because the chances I make aren't different at all from what the other teams do, it's just that their GK makes amazing saves while my supposedly good GK watches their shots go in with no reaction at all. ( also, if it helps, my striker is rated 4 stars for the division, and he has good finishing stats, and my defenders are kind of good too.)
