Does anyone know exactly how players are valued???

I think that a players value is related to how much they get to play, their form and on their current reputation...:con

Can anyone confirm this or give me some ideas???
I just want 2 make some profit...:)
Also, division and team's reputation player works
I think a players potential coupled with their form are big determiners.

For example, in FM09 i bought Sinan Bolat from Genk for £28k.

After a season of playing first team every game he reached £100k.

Assistant manager was encouraged by his progress, he was obviously a big talent, and kept getting better the more he played. He was better than the league into which i brought him so was consistantly putting in great performances.

Was eventually sold to R.Madrid after 4 seasons for £1.5mil.

A good way to make profit is to get talented players in young and sell them off. And if youre a low league club, keep an eye on free transfers. Getting players in very young when theyre released from big clubs, and selling them 6months later is a great earner. I can get about 5 18-19 years olds in for free for the same combined wage as a regular first teamer and then sell them off 6months later for good money.
