Tough loss but it is still early in the year
September Pt. 2/ You only win 2-1
I know, we only win 2-1 it seems. Anyway I made a few changes bringing in Gerson, and Ezequiel Ponce replacing Linetty and Dzeko. That game started and Nainggolan came close to scoring in the 23rd minute. After hitting the crossbar. When in the 42nd minute El Shaarawy run up the left and crossed it into Ezequiel Ponce scoring on his Debut. Making it 1-0 at half time. After we came out in the second half Bruno Peres made a great run from right back to cross the ball into the back post for El Sheerawy to score making it 2-0. Then in the 60th minute Torres passed through the back that deflected off Juan Jesus right into the path of Alejandro Gomez who put it past Allison to make it 2-1. And that’s how the game ended.
Man of the match for this game was El Shaarawy who assisted and scored. With the match of the weekend coming when Inter beat Udinese 4-2. With AC Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina remaing undefeated un the top 3.

Not a 2-1 win this time and honestly we shouldn’t have won it anyway. We kicked off and it only took us 6 minutes before taking the lead when. Perotti made a run down the left and played it back to Strootman who’s first time shot went straight into the top corner with the Keeper having no chance. Other than that the first half was really boring and it took until the 60th minute for something to actually happen when Chievo played it over the top Federico Fazio made a terrible mistake, not for the first time this season, and then Ricardo Meggiorini hit it under Allison to make it 1-1. Other than that we also had two injurie of Leandro castan breaking his nose, out for 5 days, and Nainggolan being out for 12 days – 2 weeks with a groin strain.
Man of the match went to Dario Davelli (Chievo). With the highlight of the match day being AC Milan losing 3-1 to Napoli away.

This was an amazing match to see as we put three goals past Buffon who hadn’t conceded a goal all season. It started in the 6th minute when Emerson Run down the wing and played a drilled pass along the floor and Benatia put it into his own goal. Then in the 40th Minute Bonucci got on the end of a corner to make it 1-1 at half time. We came out in the second half feeling confident and we became even more confident when Benatia gave away a penalty, which Diego Perotti put away brilliantly into the bottom corner. Unfortunately in the 67th Minute Mario Manzukic got on the end of a great cross, like he always does, and scored to make it 2-2. But then not even two minutes later Diego perotti made a run down the right was picked out perfectly by Linetty, he then crossed it Near post to Edin Dzeko who headed it past Buffon to win us the game.

We currently sit in 3rd place with 13 points after 6 matches. Not a bad start and even better knowing we beat Juve. Next month I hope we can defend a lot better as we are conceding too many goals and at the end of the season goal difference could be the difference between Champions league and Europa League football.

I’ll try and add more actual storylines Eventually but they might not be for a little while cause I’m very busy all of next week and I’m just trying to get as much of the story written as possible before then.
