Manager's Comments

"This month was a good one. Same things on the Greek SL staying unbeaten grabbing 2 wins and 3 draws from 5 matches. Cup wise, we managed to turn around our 0-1 loss against Atromitos by grabbing a 0-2 win. Now, the biggest and best surprise was in the Champions League 1st Knockout Round. We 'destroyed' Real Madrid inside the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium. A 3-1 win against one of the best teams in the world in front of 32.000 fans. MOTM of course went to Kostas Fortounis who scored 2 goals helping us grabbing the win. We now have to hold out inside Santiago Bernabéu and we are all looking very forward to it.

March's Schedule

Olympiakos sign Youth Candidates

Olympiakos have signed 16 players coming in from the Candidate team. We'll go through the most notable ones which are only 4. First , there's Stamatis Pantidos, a 16 year old Right Winger. Secondly, there's Charalabos Katsaros, a Defensive Mid who seems to have a bright future ahead of him. Thirdly, there's Enrique Iglesias, a 15 year old Spanish Striker who can also play as a Winger. Lastly, there's Iasonas Christopoulos, a 15 year old stiker. The best ones of these 4 are: Charalabos Katsaros and Enrique Iglesias.

Some good looking youngsters mate, hopefully they'll shine for a long time in an Olympiakos shirt!

Let's be fast. In the Greek SL, we performed good in the 3 matches we played. A win against Panathinaikos in the Derby of Eternal Enemies made sure we still got it. Now, in the Cup, we grabbed a comfortable win against Aris Thessaloniki with Enrique Iglesias scoring a goal on his debut and becoming the youngest ever goalscorer and the youngest ever player to make a first team appearance. Now, at last but not least, we disqualified Real Madrid after a 0-0 draw inside the Bernabeu. That was one of our best performances this season with our defence grabbing an average 7.8 rating. MOTM goes to Retsos who grabbed an impressive 8.8 rating stopping multiple attacks and counter attacks and even saving a shot before crossing the line.

April's Schedule

Veria to win the league. You heard it here first.
Looks like you have found your way up.

One word. PASSION. That's what we have shown throughout the entire season. We won the league after beating PAOK 2-0 and after that we continued winning after that as if nothing happened. In the cup, we may have lost 3-2 but we scored 2 goals after having a man sent off. Drawing against Bayern away and then beating them back in our fortress and then qualifying to the semis. Now even if we lose against Arsenal in the semis, we'll be proud.

May's Schedule

Six words: Semi Finals of the Champions League!
When I say Kostas, you say Fortounis!

Okay, let's try a different one. When I say Olympiacos, you say Champions!

Manager's Comments

We've done it!! We've won the cup after a decent performance but most importantly we are in the final of the CL. We have to be proud of our accomplishment. Even if we lose we have to be proud that we reached the final. Now let's face FC Barcelona in the Millennium Stadium in Wales. See you on the 3rd of June. ;)
