When running FM Scout Editor 0.5.0.0 it tells me that update 0.5.1.0 is available. I duely click install update and it pops up another smaller window which after the bar progresses claims it's ready to install. Clicking on install update then opens the FMSE17 Setup and it's at this point where the update fails.
The setup opens and has three options Repair, Uninstall and Close. I tried repair first however after running and doing it's business I reopen FMSE to find it is still version 0.5.0.0 and still wants to update. Uninstall obviously as you might expect just uninstalls the program and then closes and Close as you might expect just closes the window and cancels the setup.
This leaves the only option to update the program being to uninstall and redownload the latest version of the installer manually.
