I was using genie while i was playing and when i didnt need it anymore I closed genie.
I continued to play and later on started genie again but it couldnt find the game data. No matter what I try (i have the betas off in steam by default) I cant get it to work.
I hope we get an update for genie soon.

Hey guys I think the problem is the game has updated again. Its now on 17.3.2f970983 (m.e. v1704) and thats probably why your genie scout is not working.

Having the exact same situation and problem.
Game was patched to 17.3.2 yesterday.
We released a new Genie Scout 17 version today that adds support for this.

i have same problem with latest version of game and genie 17g. It is already second time in 3 days happening, and i solved only reinstalling genie first time, but can't reinstall it every 2 days, come on -.-

That's weird. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it works fine. If anyone has the same issue as me they should try doing that.
