Spain Clinch World Cup

England | 1-3 | Spain
Johnson (61)

Oliver (30)
Costa (77)
Alcacer (89)

Spain have become the fifth consecutive European nation to lift the World Cup after defeating England 3-1 in the final in Rabat. Goals from Diego Costa and Paco Alcacer sealed the deal for the Spaniards who won every game on their way to the final.

A classy finish from Oliver put Spain 1-0 at the break, nullified by a freakish long range goal from young England defender Abdullahi Johnson on the hour mark. However, Spain's dominance of the match shined through, and simple finishes from Diego Costa and Paco Alcacer saw Koke lift the World Cup.

Lineups:
Spain: De Gea; Casas, Bartra, Ramos, Roberto; Koke, Saul; Williams, Oliver, Carlos; Alcacer
England: Pickford; Shaw, Stones, Johnson, Chambers; Rashford, Gibson, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Kane, Chetwyn

Liverpool Looking To Offload African Duo

New manager Harry Kewell has cast his first eye over the Liverpool squad, with Alfred Duncan and Naby Keita expected to become the first departures as Kewell assembles his squad. The Ghana and Guinea internationals respectively have both been on the fringe in recent seasons at the club and Kewell is looking to move them on and upgrade.

Tottenham's Dele Alli is reportedly a target for Liverpool, currently unhappy at Wembley. Other potential candidates include Manchester United's Casemiro and exciting Dutch youngster Henrico Teunissen.

In other transfer news, Emre Can could be on his way out of Anfield amid heavy interest from Barcelona, whilst Liverpool also have an eye on Peruvian midfielder Oscar Laguna, 21.
Keita & Emre would be massive departures, should they leave, but Dele Alli would be a very worthy replacement!
