Breaking News: Antonio Conte resigns

Chelsea official website has confirmed this morning that Antonio Conte has officially resigned from the post of manager after chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and Conte did not see eye to eye on the upcoming transfer window. Abramovich has only made a limited amount of money available to the defending champions. Conte felt that with limited money he would be unable to retain the title and has therefore decided to leave by mutual consent.

Conte proved to be the one of the best managers to handle Chelsea as he managed to take The blues to another Premier League title. This comes as a shock as nobody expected him to leave the club after one season in which he managed to do the unthinkable. Many fans and pundits are pointing their fingers at Abramovich for this loss.

Conte himself was unavailable for any comments on this and is no where to be seen but Chelsea Owner Roman Abramovich held a sudden press conference and confirmed the news. He also confirmed that the new manager will be a familiar face at Stamford Bridge. He will be confirming the manager soon at a club press conference and is expecting the fans to have a good reactions.

Alvaro Morata: Chelsea sign Real Madrid striker for club record £60m

Chelsea have completed the club record £60m signing of striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid on a five-year deal.

The Spain international, 24, scored 20 goals last season after rejoining Real from Italian champions Juventus. Morata won La Liga and the Champions League, but the majority of his appearances were as a substitute. Morata will now join up with the Blues squad on their pre-season tour of Asia.

"Alvaro has proven class at the highest level and his quality will be a huge asset," said Chelsea Interim Manager Angelo Alessio.

Premier League champions Chelsea have also completed signing goalkeeper Willy Caballero on free, defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.

Nemanja Matic: Manchester United complete signing of Chelsea midfielder

Manchester United have completed the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for £40m on a three-year deal.

United manager Jose Mourinho described Matic as a "team player" who has "everything we want in a footballer; loyalty, consistency, ambition".

Matic said he was "delighted" to be joining at "an exciting time".

The Serbia midfielder added: "To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.

"I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them."

CHELSEA : MANAGER MERRY GO ROUND

Reports are coming in that Carlo Ancelotti, Blanc and Luis Enrique have been shortlisted to be the new face as the Head Coach for the Blues.

Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner, is very much encouraged to try to convince Luis Enrique to accept the job as manager at Stamford Bridge. Blanc is already rumored to be his favourite to succeed Conte and Carlo Ancelotti, the former Chelsea boss, is already in the good books of Chelsea fans and might be on board for his second innings at the bridge.

The question on every fans' lips is who is it going to be the new face to succeed Antonio Conte and can he sustain the pressure or will he perish under it?
Luis Enrique would probably be the most intriguing because he'd potentially finally bring "Barca in Blue" to Stamford Bridge!

Yes, he would be an interesting manager and could be successful for sure but you can't deny the fact that Blanc is too a highly acclaimed manager who literally brought PSG on to the map. He knows how to get the big guns and ofcourse Ancelotti isthat one manager who always comes to blue fans minds when there is a manager post to reclaim.

Diego Costa: Atletico Madrid complete deal for Chelsea striker

Striker Diego Costa has completed his move back to Atletico Madrid from Premier League champions Chelsea.

The two clubs agreed terms last week and the 28-year-old Spain international passed his medical on Monday.

Costa left Atletico for Chelsea in 2014 and scored 59 goals in 120 games appearances for the Blues.

He won two Premier League titles and the League Cup with the club, but found himself exiled at Stamford Bridge over the summer.

"He gave a lot to this club and for that we are always grateful but he was not happy here anymore. We wish the best for him in the future and the rest of the season." said Interim manager Angelo Alessio.

BREAKING NEWS: Carlo Ancelotti named Chelsea Manager

In a huge breaking story today, Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has been re-appointed as the new Chelsea manager - signing a one year contract with the North London giants.

Chelsea have confirmed that - despite rumours that they were in deep discussions with Laurent Blanc and Luis Enrique -Carlo Ancelotti will replace Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager.

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the best and most experienced coaches in the soccer business. He was currently unemployed and due to his deep affection towards Chelsea, Ancelotti accepted the job.

After his successful career as a player, Ancelotti decided to work as a soccer coach. His first job was at the Italian national team. There, he worked as an assistant coach for Arrigo Sacchi between 1992 and 1995 and could reach the final of the FIFA World Cup 1994 in the USA. In summer 1995, Ancelotti signed with Reggiana from the Italian Serie B. He succeeded in his first year as coach and led the team to their promotion to the Serie A.

After just one season at Reggiana, Ancelotti moved to AC Parma in the summer of 1996. Surprisingly, in his first season at Parma (1996-97), his club placed runner-up in Serie A. In February 1999, he replaced the retiring Marcello Lippi as coach of Juventus. Ancelotti could not win the required national and international titles and was replaced by Lippi in 2001.

He became the new coach of AC Milan. At this time, the club was in a serious crisis. Ancelotti led the Milanese to the semifinals of the UEFA Cup in 2001/02 and finished the season in fourth place.

In the 2002/03 season, Carlo Ancelotti could sign Andrea Pirlo and Rui Costa. They became Milan's most important players. In the 2002/03 Champions League season, the team played in the final against Juventus and was able to defeat them on penalties. In the 2003/04 season, the Brazilian midfielder Kaká signed a contract with AC Milan. With Kaká as a key player, Ancelotti led AC Milan to win the European Super Cup and league title in the following season.

By winning the UEFA Champions League in 2003, Ancelotti became one of a few people to win this title as player and coach. At the beginning of June 2007, Ancelotti extended his contract until 2010.
In 2007, Carlo Ancelotti won the UEFA Champions League for a second time, making him one of few coaches to ever accomplish this feat.

On June 1, 2009, Carlo Ancelotti became the new coach of Chelsea FC. In his first competitive game, he won the FA Community Shield against Manchester United on penalties.

On May 9, 2010, Ancelotti won the English championship a point ahead of Manchester United. In the season 2010/2011, Ancelotti's team was not as successful and he was sacked.

For the year 2011-12, he took over the French team Paris Saint-Germain. The club had signed top players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva won the league title at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, he was asked to replace José Mourinho as coach of Real Madrid.

For the 2013/14 season, Ancelotti signed with the Spanish giants Real Madrid. He signed a three-year contract until June 2016. Ancelotti won the Champions League with Real Madrid ending their drought. But due to bad performances the next season, he was sacked.

Ancelotti signed for Bayern Munich replacing Pep Guardiola in 2016. Ancelotti led Bayern to their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title and their 27th overall following a 6–0 away win over Wolfsburg.

This will be Ancelotti's second innings with Chelsea. He is already in the good books of Chelsea's fans and looking at this announcement, Ancelotti might have patched things up with Chelsea Owner Roman Abramovich and looks to defend the premier League title with Chelsea.
Interesting to see Carlo return to the club he once won the league with. Hopefully he can enjoy an even more enjoyable reign with the club this time around.
