Now that all of that shameless promotion is out of the way, let the story begin...
In my Football Manager 2018 Journeyman series, we will be following 4 rules to keep things fun and interesting:
1. We can spend a maximum of 3 full seasons at a club (at any one time).
2. We are not allowed to use the player/scout report screen. All players signed must
have
been found using scout reports or using the stats screen when looking at your
league. Any staff that are appointed must be appointed by the director of football (if
we have one) or through job adverts.
3. Once we've won the top division of a country, we can not return there. I.e. if we were
to win the Premier League in England, we can't manage there again.
4. I have to make realistic decisions within the game, such as financial and
geographical decisions - particularly early on in the game, I.e. I must make the
decisions I would personally make.
More details about the rules can be found on the "Episode 0" of my YouTube Series. If you guys are playing along, let me know what rules (if any) you have imposed on yourself and let me know how your save is getting along.
I started out my journeyman series at Vanarama National League North club Blyth Spartans as they were the club geographically closest to my front door (in South Shields) at 15.4 miles! To find out what happened in those first few games, watch my YouTube series

SPOILER ALERT
************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
After 6 months at Blyth Spartans we unfortunately were relieved of our duties after a very tough start to the season. I personally thought the decision was harsh - but hey ho! You live and learn! After an extensive job hunt, we found our second job at Blyth's league rivals and fellow relegation candidates Curzon Ashton! Can we keep them up? Or will we be looking for a 3rd job in a year? Find out in my YouTube series linked above.
Let me know what you think down below - if you enjoy, I'll be keeping regular updates on this forum and asking for your advice on which jobs to go for and signings to make!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day - thanks for reading and goodbye
